I got a lot of urinary tract infections when my fillings were in and still am getting them. The reason for my infections was not bacteria, but yeast! I found out the hard way that sugar - even the amount of starch/sugar in a sweet potato, was enough to give me horrendous kidney pain and UTI symptoms (and stomach pain too). From this forum, I found out that people who are mercury-poisoned have yeast which cannot be gotten rid of while the fillings remain in the mouth because the yeast plays a protective role in that it ingests mercury. Therefore, you probably have a lot of yeast still, and will have for a while, and perhaps this is the cause of your "UTIs". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
