Hi all, I've finally signed up after a few weeks of reading just about everything the internet has to offer about possible mercury poisoning.
I had five fillings placed in May in a somewhat rushed procedure in which I ingested noticeable quantities of amalgam. This was partially my fault as the dentist wanted to place them in two appointments but I wanted them all at once to save a bit of diesel.
I had absolutely no idea they contained 50% mercury at the time and only found out a few weeks ago after a couple of months of desperately trying to find answers.
I started experiencing a few unusual symptoms in late July which I attributed at the time to sun exposure, but within a few weeks it spiralled out of control. By the end of August I'd lost 3 stone from not eating, was horribly dizzy all the time, experiencing really bad brain fog (kind of a sensation that my brain stem isn't attached and a general difficulty thinking etc) and a few other strange, non-specific symptoms.
I've pretty well managed to gain some control over the situation with an exercise routine and possibly nutritional supplements, but still have bouts of brain fog, mood disturbances, and small weird physical symptoms/'intention tremors'.
To be completely honest, reading other peoples stories makes me feel incredibly lucky. I only missed two days off work through all of it, cycle to work and do Aikido. My symptoms are by no means debilitating but are unpleasant nonetheless and I have no other explanation as to the cause (Had blood tests for everything including Lyme disease and no problems. Myself and my doctor see no reason to believe it to be psychological).
Anyway, I have a consultation with a dentist that specialises in amalgam removal next Tuesday.
Can anyone comment meanwhile on my situation or offer any advice?
What would be particularly helpful would be how peoples recoveries are going/went.

I've spoken with hundreds of mercury toxic persons over the past years and found that many are recovering much more slowly since chemtrails began. My amalgams were removed in 2000 and I felt incredible for 5 years. In 2005 they began spraying the town I lived in heavily (chemtrails) and all of my symptoms returned to a lessor degree. I moved to Maine to escape the heavy spraying but still live with all of the symptoms caused by it. Because of this, it's harder to recover today than in years past. If you're interested, here's a link to my story. It hopefully contains helpful information: http://globalskywatch.com/v/mcs

Remove the amalgams as safely and as soonly as possible. Hit the sauna for a month, and if you don't see any improvements - you may need to detox with ALA and DMSA. The brain fog is a big teller for me.
