Algin may very well help because it's not a chelator. It blocks redistribution of mercury which can stop some of it from being absorbed into body tissue.
It has helped many people that I've spoken with.
I'm not sure how much the crowns slow down the absorption of mercury into the body, but I'm sure they must have some effect because much of the mercury from fillings is normally brought into the body by simple off gassing.
If the crowns are "gold", they can accelerate the rate of mercury decomposition as many unlike metals do.
You may look into zeolite and see if there is information about it removing mercury without chelating it from existing fillings. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with it enough to speak intelligently about it, but I have heard and read good things about it in regard to mercury.
You can also work to mitigate each individual symptom using supplements. For example, mercury blocks magnesium which leads to craps, headaches, constipation, etc, so simple magnesium supplementation helps with these symptoms in many people I've worked with.
I think we've tried to make phone contact??? And if so, I'm sorry that we kept missing each other. You're welcome to try again after 7pm Sun thru Fri ET and I'll be happy to help however I can.
