The more I read the more worried I am. I am not actually 'sick' at the moment and living a busy life with kids and family. I am concerned stirring up and removing this mercury, will cause irreperable damage and start a journey I dont want to take. BUT if I leave it, I worry about the future and what will happen. I have approx 5-6 mercury amalgams. 2 or 3 are hidden under other white fillings. I guess i am scared of becomming sick, when, If I dont do anything, I wont..
Anyone else feel like this?
Its the detox which is worrying me, I originally thought you just remove the amalgams and thats it, I had no idea of all the mercury distribution, before I researched and its scaring me so badly...

If you are living a normal healthy life, I wouldn't worry about it. The majority of people handle amalgam fillings just fine, without any side-effects. It's those of us that cannot handle them, get very ill. I found myself getting ill immediately after getting my fillings, and have got progressively worse over the course of 5 or 6 years.
I only recently had them removed 6 months ago, and I've been using the Cutler protocol and recently finished my 6th round.
If you do get them replaced, then there is a good chance of getting more mercury in your system who could cause problems and will force you to detox. Just sit it out, and if you ever get ill on a re-occurring basis, then look into detox.

Well - If you don't have any health issues, I would be weary to replace them. If you do replace them, make sure you do it with a dentist who is aware of the dangers of mercury exposure. Otherwise, you could expose yourself to unmanageable levels of mercury. Remember - the majority of people with dental amalgams will live normal lives. It's those of us that can't manage it, go on to suffer terribly. In the end - the choice is yours - So long as you find a good dentist who can safely remove them, then they are probably better off being replaced

Thanks UI have found an excellent dentist .. My concern with keeping them would be the worry of the damage they are doing now that I am unaware of. I had kidney failure last year, which coincedentally occured after a broken amalgam was drilled out and I had a tetanus shot around the same time, its took a year to recover. I have had a breast scare this year which luckily turned out OK, but is this the start? Could there be underlying issues I just dont know about? I have heard it can cause neurological issues so do you just wait? and then what if its too late? My mum has a mouth full of amalgams and root canals and is a very sick woman, half her stuff they have no idea what is causing it..

It's amazing how many things mercury causes. According to Dr. Huggins, there are 200 or more diseases caused by amalgams (mercury), and I definitely agree. It's the single largest cause of disease today.

Ohhhh, (((( Smiles )))) I understand the concern but for me it's the noise of the high speed hand piece drill and it will be a midwest or a star. In reading about all the disease and issues that can be caused by mercury and I got these merc filling put in my mouth at 9 asked my mother recently about it by a pediatric dentist and had them redone not sure how many times who worried about those things back then anyway? I didn't. Found two specialised dentists trying to decide which one is the best for me and this is all new to me. Here's the mask Russ must use? http://www.dentairvac.com/HgMasks.htmland here's a dental air vac they use. http://www.dentairvac.com/index.htmlMy neurological issues could have been caused by this mercury fillings in my mouth making me more fragile subsceptable to eventually a tinnitus and hyperacusis disorder and a rare form of mild dystonia that usally only flairs up under a stresser otherwise. I function pretty good most people don't know. But lately, have been getting insomia and mercury can do that so... I'm with fairystar just get them out of my mouth. And it is possible but not certain that my tinnitus or like cured H will flair up again but maybe only shortly. But maybe getting the mercury out of my mouth and De-toxing may cure me of my problems that may have been caused or aggravated by mercury exposure. Our God would never have called for mercury to be placed in our mouths it's an evil thing to do indeed! What a dilemma they left us with and people are still having mercury put in their mouth they must not really know what they are doing to themselves. Good luck with it!
