Hi all I am new here I have just had a root canal removed last week with a gold coloured crown and have found an experienced recommended dentist to remove my other root canal and Amalgams ( I have an initial visit next week) I have a few questions if thats OK? Last year I had kidney failure. I believe it was due to an Amalgam drilled out without protection and a tetanus vaccination done at the same time but this has been denied its possible. I am pretty much healed now but it has been a long year of recovery. I need to thefore start carefully and will NOT be taking a chemical chelator. So I need the best altenative. I am thinking of trying this, which was recommended in a book from a woman I trust and the dentist uses it in his removal protocol. anyone tried it? http://www.bioraynaturaldetox.com/where-do-i-start/organicheavymetaldetox.aspxI will also be waiting the 3 mths before taking the ALA Do you still take your regular suppliments for eg... selenium, vit c, etc... during the initial detox stage when all amalgams are removed? also considering algin, is this suitable to take with amalgams still in the mouth? does anyone know if its compatable with all suppliments and during the initial detox days aftyer full removal? At the moment I take vital green suppliment (but now concerned as it has chlorella in it and I still have amalgams????) since my kidney issues I have ovehauled my diet and life and now look after myself I also take selenium Iodine magnesium Vit C wheatgrass Is wheatgrass safe with amalgams? I also try to remember to take black cumin oil omega 3 (salmon oil) etc.. I eat a lot of raw veggies, raw garlic, onions and only organic grass fed beef or organic chicken occasionally and plenty of free range organic eggs. anyone have any advice? Thank you xx

If you don't mind, knowing the answers he gave could be helpful to someone.
Thanks and all the best in your detox.

Sure He does not personally recommend Algin or NDF. Infact information I have got from the yahoo group has made me seriously reconsider this and I will not be using either. Wheatgrass is safe I can use ALA alone after the wait period, as it will detox mercury by itself and to take my suppliments before, during and afterwards. Vital green has chlorella in it so I have stopped taking it. I will be removing mine over xmas period due to still breastfeeding at the moment. I visit my dentist in the next week so will be going armed with ideas and will be buying Andrews book. ( he answered all my questions really quickly, so I thank him xx) I just need to sort my suppliment list out now in preperation,... so anymore advice on that would be appreciated thanks Natx

So algin is not safe? Dr. C has written to avoid all algaes, which includes kelp I'm assuming. Which must affect movement of mercury without chelating.
Wheatgrass OK? that's good news. So it must antioxidize without picking up the metal, unlike chlorella. And wheatgrass is a very potent antioxidant according to the literature......
