De Vinci Code does have issues and the problem besides its inaccuracies is the issue of gnosticism.
From what one gathers doesn't make it a fact.
And Dan Brown's Assertions about the Council of Nicaea and Jesus's divinity is just false!
Besides other historical evidence of this belief of divinity there is the Armageddon Church the Megiddo Church.
Just in looking at all the Archaeological finds it shows that All that He conveys to us is through the prism of the Hebrew Bible and the religion and culture of that time.
Period.

This Christian structure seems to have been built in the transition between the end of the Jewish settlement
and before the established Christianity.

And they believed way back then before Christianity was estabished as a religion that He was who He claimed to be.
Before Christians they were Messianic Jews.
They believed in the Messiah based on the Hebrew Bible which were manuscripts/scrolls back then.
And then it spread to others around the world and it all started from there.

Plus the Apostles did NOT believe that the Messiah who came through a divine virgin birth from Mary was just a fellow Apostle.
All the evidence there shows this that's not what they believed. They believed He was the Messiah that He was God.
Plus Mary is NOT the mother of God she is the mother of Jesus she was blessed for sure but was just fulling prophecies of the Messiah to come.

People will believe what they want to believe regardless of the truth but one has to be honest with themselves.
Are their beliefs based on Gnosticism or based on All that He conveys to us is through the prism of the Hebrew Bible and the religion and culture of that time.
Because it really matters in the face of what all of us are going to face based on these decisions in the future.

Look toward Jerusalem as that's the cup of trembling to the world based on Ancient Scriptures and is it not!
So what is truth???
mystic gnosticism/new ageism or what we see going on in this world of today in marching on to the fullfilling of more of the prophecies to come.
That's the sign of the times! Not just interesting books.
The Dead Sea Scrolls is a more of an interesting book than Dan's.
And they referred as well to the Ancient Hebrew Scriptures which refers to a coming Messiah.
Because He came according to the prophecies found in the Dead Sea Scrolls in the same Ancient Scriptures we see in what we call the Hebrew Manuscripts the Old Testament today.
All that He conveys to us: The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus.

Yeshua was never Greek yet He came for us all.
Our Father in Heaven hasn't morphed into something else.
And changing from one Yeshua to another Bluring religions together takes away from the fact of who Yeshua is and the Hebrew scriptures He quoted from.
Jesus Christ and John the Baptist Were Rabbis

Based on the Hebrew Scriptures.
Jesus Christ came as a Jew born Jewish.

So I do question Dan Brown's agenda and he most likely made alot of money off of his book. But was it all factual.
I don't think so. Life is all about choices though.
I do believe in that.
