When it comes to diet theres a lot of conflicting views on what's good and whats bad or what works for our own bodies. Milk is something that is loved by many and also panned by many. As a kid I grew up drinking a lot of milk. I had eliminated it from my diet about 3 years ago due to digestive issues I was having(it wasn't the cause of it). But now I have attempted to re-introduce goat milk back into my diet. The first time i drank it I burped soon after and then today the same thing happened. Although I had no problems after that, I'm guessing immediate burping from milk means it's not digesting too well? Nothing else I eat or drink makes me burp immediatly. Anyone else here drink milk? What's your opinion?

I eat yogurt instead of drinking milk, as the active cultures in yogurt digest much of the lactose. Lactose is the main problem with milk, although the high ratio of calcium to magnesium can be an issue if you drink large amounts of it. I can tolerate small amounts of lactose, such a perhaps a cup or less of milk, but if I drink a quart of milk I will probably get severely flatulent. There are lactose reduced milks and LactAid pills if you really want to drink milk and have a problem digesting it.
