I am tired of this anything goes mentality. Years ago one of my friends kept getting his girlfriend pregnant, and she kept going for abortions. If a single method of birth control didn't work, then she should have been using two or more methods simultanueously.

I guess some would say that they should not have been having sex without marriage, however I guess that would have been too much to ask for. I told him that he needs to make sure that she doesn't keep getting pregnant.

I guess we should also discuss world population growth. In the 1700 years from year zero to 1700, the world population doubled from around 300 million to around 600 million. Since 1700, the world population increased by around a factor of 11, to 6,900 million! If abortions could be outlawed worldwide, imagine how much faster the world population would grow! I guess some are trying to convince people to get sterilized(vasectomies or tubal ligation).

In the US, the top 69 metropolitan areas have around half the country's population, but only take up 1.2% of the land area.
