Hi, its been a while since i was here, been getting slowly better, coping with a lot of liver/kidney pains. I have been on candida diet for about 6/7 weeks now. Had quite severe increase in all symptoms after 3 or 4 days on diet, it lasted almost a week but have gotten better. i have been all organic since october 2010. what i have noticed now is a zero tolerance to unorganic, sugar containing, or processed food. i had a couple of biscuits two days ago, within half an hour i had sores all over my tongue, swollen gums and palate. my joint pain, which has reduced to almost nothing since complete amalgam removal and candida diet, was severe within an hour. this has gradually reduced over the past few days but is still higher than before the biscuits. A small piece of orgnaic chocolate a couple of weeks ago gave me a migraine for two days. non organic foods have similar effect. i am not doing any more cheating. totally learnt my lesson. i am just wondering if this is normal, what is going on, and will i ever be able to tolerate sugar or non organic foods again? also i had athletes food for many years, nothing got rid of it. it cleared up within a week of the candida diet, but that has also flared up since the biscuits. how long does it take until the candida dies off to a point where the slightest sugar intake causes it to flare up? my daughter is in the same situation although the other kids and hubby seem to be ok.
