A Witness to God's truth.

The history of Jewish suffering as the most persecuted people in history.
As we witness the rebirth of a nation we also witness this persecution as Satan has tried to destroy God's people and God's plan.
God has plans for Jerusalem.
Gods plans will come about in spite of the forces against it.

Satan will roam like a wild lion trying to eat and devour anything and everything. 1 Peter 5:8

In it's way and in it's path expecially when it comes to God's plan. Of course the well being of the Jewish people has always hinged on their obedience to God.
When God's people obey Him, they prosper and when they do not, judgement falls on them and that can also go for all people and all nations.
As we are all the children of God.

Yet also...
Satan desires to harm believers through persecution.
This is another sign of things to come and what has been, on earth.
To prove the truth of God's word.

I think that we all can take courage from this message because Jesus said that we are blessed when we are persecuted for the sake of the Gospel.
Jesus said that in suffering for Him we stand in a proud line of predecessors, those who have gone before us, who have endured ridicule and persecution for His sake.
He said, "For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
