I need to know if anyone has heard of Dr. Michael Biamonte (NYC). He claims that candida needs to be taken care of BEFORE mercury/metal removal. Please get back to me as soon as possible on this? I don't know what to believe anymore....

He sounds good and conservative to be addressing candida first. I would agree with him. I believe it helped me tremendously that I had the yeast under control before removal, but you are unlikely to completely resolve the candida since the mercury is probably the cause in the first place. I believe it helps to reduce the side effects that you may get from removal. I would adhere to a strict diet and plenty of probiotics before and after removal.

He is correct. Candida overgrowth is a nightmare alongside mercury poisoning. I have suffered severe mercury poisoning and candida overgrowth at the sametime. The combination of this nearly had me take my own life more than once. It is frightening. Here is why.

Yeast may naturall overgrow to a certain extent in the presence of metals, whether that is beneficial or not, I'm unsure about. However, either way, the body's immunity can no longer keep yeast at normal levels anyway, due to the mercury suppressing immunity.

Feeding the yeast/pathogens beyond this point in anyway, can allow the already overgrown yeast to run rampant and create a myriad of symptoms throughout your body, some which maybe confused with mercury. Both mercury and candida caused in me tremendous suffering.

Yeast apparently make mercury more toxic. Yeast also overloads the gut and poisons the liver with its toxins. These toxins also can get into the brain and affect someone mentally. I have heard that some symptoms of mental illness can be yeast overgrowth (similar to mercury).

If you are suffering with any yeast overgrowth, your gut and liver will also be suffering and this is not a good senario for detoxing anything, let alone the mercury. To reduce the yeast, is to allow your body to handle other toxins better (like mercury) and also aids your gut and your liver, which helps you with detoxing.

A biologic dentist here in my country, who is excellent, prepares his patients and the anti-candida diet is one of the ways he does this. He also gives them proper support supplements as well and other things that they may need specifically. This is to prepare them not only for detox of mercury, but also for the amalgam removal. If they do not want to comply, he will not do the job, because he believes it can make a person much worse if they are not prepared.

Immunity improves as yeast is reduced because there are much less toxins for it to deal with. I would be careful of antifungals however, because they can be too harsh and work by killing yeast on contact. Splitting yeast cells open in large numbers. If any of your yeast contains metals/mercury, this too can be released into the system. So you have to be careful on that one. The best way to reduce yeast is to starve it out by going on the anti-candida diet. This is essential to any anti-yeast programme. Taking antifungals without going on the diet is pointless. You'll just be feeding the yeast with your diet and then trying to kill it at the sametime with antifungals. Doesn't pay off in the end.

Diet is essential, antifungals are supplementary if you want to take them. Diet is safer because it does not kill a load of yeast on contact, split cell walls open. It works by gradually starving them to death. They become sick and die because the overgrowth is not being fed what it needs to survive. You can still get sick from this because yeast release their death toxins / alcohols into your system, but this is not always avoidable and at least is a good sign things are working. IT's called die off.

It can take a few weeks to feel better once you start the diet. It may take 2 - 6 weeks or so. It's different for everybody. When I first started the diet, I think it took 3 weeks to notice the difference and the difference was dramatic. My health improved substantially. Though it did not cure me of the mercury, as I still had amalgams at the time, it made life MUCH more bearable. My skin, my hair, my eyes, everything looked better and healthier (and younger). I was lucky then though, I could still eat some fruit and even some non wheat.non gluten grain and high carb vegetables like potatoes. But I could not touch sugar, wheat/gluten, or yeast. Nowadays, I have an ongoing viral problem, so my yeast issues are much more difficult to control. I am on a much stricter diet and cannot eat fruit, or high carb vegetables (no corn or potatoes etc), nor can I even eat the non wheat, non gluten grains.

I eat eggs, meats, liver, low carb vegetables, acidophilus sugar free plain yoghurt, raw nuts (almonds/brazil), raw seeds like pumpkin/sunflower etc. My liquid intake consists of herbal tea mostly. I have healthy fats/oils like butter and olive oil etc (even fat on meat). I cannot have any coffee AT ALL. Steer clear of it. Something very bad happens if I drink that stuff and I get the impression it either feeds the yeast big time, or it has an affect on the good bacteria in the gut. Either way, it's a baddie, almost as bad as sugar, yeast, wheat/gluten.

Cravings often increase when you start such a diet, because the yeast want to survive and do not like the healthier foods. So that can be hard to deal with initially, but if you stick with it, it starts to fade and then it goes. The key is to hang in there, do not cheat, even if you feel like you're going crazy at first. It's a battle because it wants to win!

So be reassured, your doctor is correct!!!

Hello All,

Before I am accused of being a supporter or the AMA, FDA, American Dietetics Association, Monsato or any other group which does NOT have my support, it's important to clarify a couple of things.

One,

It's good that Mr. Biamonte wants to help people.

Two,

I don't doubt that he wants to help people

Three,

Mr. Biamonte is NOT a doctor. Of ANY kind. To hold (LEGALLY that is)the title of Doctor, there are some guidelines
which must be followed. A person calling themselves doctor must have either:

A.) A CLINICAL doctorate(this can be allopathic medicine(M.D.),
Osteopathic Medicine(D.O.), Chiropractic Medicine(D.C.), Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.), Oriental Medicine(D.A.O.M), Dental Medicine and/or Dental Surgery(D.D.S/D.M.D.)
Podiatric Medicine(D.P.M), Optometric Medicine(O.D. or Doctor of Optometry) and some others such as the fairly recent D.P.T(Doctor of Physical Therapy). Technically, a law degree (J.D.) is a doctoral degree as well (J.D. stands for Juris Doctorate). There is also a D.H.A.(Doctor of Health Administration) and D.H.L.(Doctor of Humane Letters)

and/or

B.) An ACADEMIC doctorate: examples include: Ph.D.(doctor of Philosophy), Ed.D.(doctorate in education), Sc.D.(Doctor of Science).

Mr. Biamonte does not hold ANY of the above. His degree is referred to as "Doctor of NUTRIpathy" which for the record has never been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Furthermore, it was never accredited by an agency recognized (by the US DOE) as a national accrediting body or regional accrediting body. NUTRIpathy(emphasis mine to separate it from the more well known N.D.(NATUROpathic doctor). In addition, lack of accreditation by the US DOE through a national and especially regional accredting agency means that in the academic world, Mr. Biamonte's college (the American College of Nutripathy which for the record is no longer in operation) DOES NOT EXIST in the acdemic world.

He is improperly using the title "doctor" when he does not have the educational base of knowledge as someone who holds an ACTUAL clincal naturopathic doctor degree. Graduates of N.D. programs such as Bastyr University, NCNM, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, ARE legally allowed to carry the title "Doctor" after passing state and national licensing exams.

It would behoove anyone seeking Mr. Biamontes advice to know that he is not a doctor. He mentions on his website in the disclosure form that he "is not a doctor" and "does not diagnose" (and I'm certain he is referring to Allopathic doctors (M.D.) in this comparison), yet at the same time he addresses himself as "Dr. Biamonte". He does not have the legal right to represent himself as such when there is no licensed health care profession at the state/national legislative level called "Doctor of Nutripathy".
