Rage is what I experienced when detoxing mercury. Sometimes severely. I have two holes in my bedroom wall and door to remind me of them wink I learned to focus it a little better later thank goodness.

But yeah, no chelation with amalgams. You only start chelating with Cutler's protocol (DMSA alone) 4 days after the last amalgam removal and from then on for about 3 months or so or you can wait it out without any chelation during that time. Once the first 3 months are up, you can bring onboard the heavy guns (ALA) to chelate the brain and organs. The first 3 months should either be DMSA or no chelator at all, because that is the time period where the blood levels of mercury are still very high and will gradually reduce naturally, or with the help of DMSA. DMSA can help make that time easier, and more effective. It is also safe to use, because it does not cross the blood brain barrier into the brain. So is safe to use to clear the high blood levels without taking more into the brain.

ALA is then brought onboard after blood levels have been reduced (which is around 3 months post amalgam removal) and it can be taken with DMSA or alone. DMSA is optional (and expensive). ALA is essential (and thankfully less expensive). But no ALA in the first 3 months, as it can cross the blood brain barrier and may take some of the still high blood levels of mercury with it into the brain. So you want the blood levels reduced first to avoid that high risk situation.
