Hi all. I recently learned bout the mercury release from Amalgam fillings. I have been in tears since I am 99.9% certain that the three fillings in my mouth (since 1991) are and have been releasing mercury into my system. I am 41. I was always healthy as a youth. The first time I got these filling was in 1991. There have been no more added since.
I experience many of the symptoms from mercury including unexplained headaches, fatigue, ability to concentrate, serious memory problems, and more.
I've had physicals and the doctors don't know what's wrong with me.
1. Is there some way to test my fillings to confirm my suspicions?
2. How can I find someone to have them removed safely?
3. And what can I take (non pharmaceutical) that will help me combat the mercury in my system?
I am freaking out! The research is astounding, and I'm certain I am going to argue with the dentist when I bring up the subject and ask him not to touch my fillings or give me more.

I wonder because I have spent the past 8 years doing two colleges with lots of resarch and writing. I get very disoriented, headaches, loss of memory, very sore eyes, and fatigue, after hours of research. I noticed that after graduating and using the computer less, the headaches and sore eyes are less as well.[/size]

I'm very sorry to hear about the health issues you are going through. Many of us have been there, including me. The vast majority of doctors have no idea how to test for mercury. They will give you a blood test, see low mercury levels, and then tell you that mercury is not your problem. I have spoken to countless people who have been through this.
