~IF I walked not with sorrow and lived not with loss,

Would my soul seek sweet solace

at the foot of the cross?

If all I desired was mine day by day,

Would I kneel before God and earnestly pray?

I ask myself this and the answer is plain--

If my life were all pleasure and I never knew pain,

I'd seek God less often and need Him much less,

For God's sought more often in times of distress--

And no one knows God or sees Him as plain

As those who have met Him

on the pathway of pain. ~~

Sickness and sorrow
come to us all,

But through it we grow
and learn to "stand tall"--

For trouble is part
and parcel of life

And no man can grow
without struggle and stife,

And the more we endure
with patience and grace

The stronger we grow
and the more we can face--

And the more we can face,
the greater our love,

And with love in our hearts
we are more conscious of

The pain and the sorrow
in lives everywhere,

So it is through trouble
that we learn how to share.~~

I will deliver him, and honour him."

--The burden that seems too heavy to bear
God lifts away on the wings of prayer...

And seen through God's eyes earthly troubles diminish
And we're given new strength to face and to finish
Life's daily tasks as they come along...

If we pray for strength to keep us strong...
So go to our Father when troubles assail you,
For His grace is sufficient
...and He'll never fail you. ~~

--Remember when you're troubled
with uncertainty and doubt.

It is best to tell our Father
what our fear is all about.

For unless we seek His guidance
when troubled times arise,

We are bound to make decisions
that are twisted and unwise.

But when we view our problems
through the eyes of God above,

Misfortunes turn to blessings
and hatred turns to love.~~

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints
what is the breadth, and length, and depth,
and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which
passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled
with all the fulness of God."

--A CHEERFUL ATTITUDE~~

If you'll only try it, you will find,
without a doubt,

A cheerful attitude's something
no one should be without.

For when the heart is cheerful,
it cannot be filled with fear.

And without fear, the way ahead
seems more distinct and clear,

And we realize there's nothing
that we must face alone,

For our Heavenly Father loves us,
and our problems are His own. ~~

Just ask God in faith and He'll answer them all---
Not always at once, so be patient and wait,
For God never comes too soon or too late.....

So trust in His wisdom and believe in His word,
