I wondered if you desired to continue with the next two questions? The meaning of Matthew 15:11 ?? The Pharisees were very adamant in 'following the Law', Old Testament. They, in fact, exalted tradition above Divine Law. I assume you know this...Jesus jumped on them... ,
"Hear, and understand: Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth defiteh him." The Pharisees were accusing Jesus and his disciples of transgressing the law because they didn't wash their hands before they ate. (FOOD, AGAIN !).
Parable: (paraphrased)--Jesus was reproving the Pharisees because they 'dishonored parents'. Also He told them
"Thus you have made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. [u]YOU HYPOCRITES!" (my exclamation)[/u]
