Hello All,
Finally got around to removing my amalgams, all 16 of them. I had this done last week over 4 days. I was prepared for all sorts of things, i.e. feeling very rough due to increased mercury exposure or feeling elated or euphoric as some have experienced. I was therefore a little surprised to feel no difference at all.
I now have waves of pain in the teeth of my left upper and lower jaws. I am taking Arnica with some success, when it gets unbearable I resort to Ibuprofen or Syndol. I am hoping this will subside in another week or so.
I am in no rush to detox, I would like to see how my body reacts over the next month, I may then start something like the Heels detox kit.
I would like to thank you all for sharing your excellent knowledge on this brilliant site, this gave me the courage to go ahead with the removal.

WOW! 16 amalgams replaced in one week! I had 25 replaced, but over the course of a year! For others who have many amalgams, I would advise having them done a quadrant at a time, and take a rest of at least 2 months between quadrants. Blood mercury levels go way up when they are replaced and may not drop to below pre removal amounts for around 2 months.
I suggest that you rinse your mouth with very warm salt water a few times a day to help sooth your gums and to prevent mouth infections. Put a spoon of salt into a cup of water that is as warm as you can comfortably tolerate.
It would be a good idea to take olive leaf extract or other antifungals to prevent a massive candida overgrowth, which occurs with many people after their amalgams are replaced.
You shouldn't start chelation very early, however using detox teas may be helpful if you feel very toxic. My favorite is Triple Leaf Detox Tea.
Before starting chelation, you might want to do a one month parasite clense.

Hi JK98,
I'm sure you're right about spacing out the removals, I am really surprised that I have not worsened any of my mercury related issues - I kind of feel the same but with the intermittent pain on the left side. I did take all the precuations I know of (biological dentist with a recommended protocol, Algin prior, Charcoal after etc), but I still did expect to feel worse before feeling better.
Thanks for the suggestion regarding salt water, I have used salt water but not that warm as I have been concerned about sensitivity. I will give it a try.
I have never taken olive leaf extract, I hear it is very effective. I am currently using Now brand's Candida Clear which I really like. I didn't realise candida could flare up after removal, I was trying to clean up prior to removal to give me the best chance of recovery. I will keep this up.
At the moment I am just doing detox baths, Bentonite baths and I am drinking Triple Leaf Detox Tea, it's my favourite of the many detox teas I've seen.
One thing I have neglected a bit is the parasite cleanse, I am currently taking wormwood and have taken a mixed parasite formula in the past, but I think I should do more. I have considered buying a Zapper, but not sure which one?
Thanks very much for your respected input.

I don't think zappers work, but others will disagree with me.
For parasite cleansing you need at least these 3 herbs- Wormwood Black walnut green hull extract cloves
You should do a cleanse for a month, then wait at least 4 months before doing another cleanse.
I have used Now Candida Clear, and like it, but stopped using it after 2 months. It might not be a good idea to use it long term.

I'll hold off on the zapper then. Thanks for the recommended herbs for parasites, do you know of a good formulation that gives all of these?
Before amalgam removal I took some simple kidney and liver cleansing herbs, but I am tempted to do some liver cleanses in the future. Do you have any experience?
Off to bed now, with adrenal fatigue if I don't get to bed soon after 10pm I will be up until around 1am.

There are many. I use Kroeger Wormwood Combination. It takes two bottles for a one month cleanse, but there are only $5-6 a bottle on the net. Some here like Humaworm which has other herbs as well, which is only available at their website. There are other popular products such as Paragone and others. Just make sure it has at least the three main herbs I mentioned.
Liver cleanses? I have not tried them.

I'm going to have to stop visiting this site - I've just ordered a parasite cleanse. It has the following ingredients: Fresh Green Hull & Leaf of Black Walnut, Fresh Wormwood Herb, Freshly ground Cloves, Pau D’Arco Herb, Olive Leaf, Ginger Root, Fennel Seed, Fresh Thyme Leaf & Goldenseal Root. I will also make sure the colon is clean (I have some Oxypowder).
PS Today was the first day that I didn't need drugs to overcome the pain in my left upper and lower teeth, I still needed arnica, but I see this as a positive step.
Thanks, I'll keep you updated on progress. Bye for now.
