Just went to a "Huggins" alliance dentist. He recommended 7 crowns and 1 only and is trying to find something I'm compatible with. Biocomp test showed I was highly reactive to all porcelain/ceramic, diamond crown, zirconium... gold was ok and also titanium but this dentist trys to stay away from metals because of the galvanizing affect. I'm really questioning the reliability of the test. Their presumption is that AL02 leaches out and so they test it in a liquid form. I've heard all of Clifford's explanations but I'm still hesitant to go against the tests from biocomp.
After all the founder is the Amalgman crusader who everybody laughed at for revealing the toxic effects of Amalgman so now that he is claiming Aluminum Oxide leaches from the Porcelain/ceramic materials, shouldn't I listen? I know many people have these in their mouths with no obvious problems.... but I've tested as highly reactive !!! and Alzheimers is in my family .
Anyone had testing with biocomp in CO?

Hi Truth,
What kind of biocomp testing did you have and who performed it? There are various tests one can get and sometimes it's wise to get more than one and compare results and take the materials which show to be ok on more than one test.
I have a serum test here that I had done many years ago which tested me against various materials, plus direct testing on aluminium/mercury/ etc. Though I did not test ok for some of those in direct form, I was ok with many materials that contained it, because of it being bound up.
From what I know about ceramics/porcelain, the components do not leach out as readily as they do in composites/amalgams, as composites/amalgam are softer. But yes, I'd say they still do regardless.
It does get very difficult I know. Like yourself, I had difficulties too and in the end, didn't know what to do because whilst one test would show ok, another might not. Plus, later testing might then contradict earlier "ok" results and show I was now "not" ok.
I can understand concerns regarding having direct metals in your mouth too. But with the test you had showing HIGHLY reactive to the materials you stated, I can understand your concern and dilemma. Thing is, you were tested in liquid form, and that may make the difference.
E.g. I have had testing done with Clifford labs (serum testing) and I was tested with chemical groups/families. Like yourself, I was shown to be reactive with the aluminium group (though zirconium showed negative/ok). However, when tested against the actual materials of all ceramics/porcelains (which most contain aluminium oxide), I showed to be compatible with nearly all of them. So though my body showed reactions to aluminium (direct), it did not seem to do so when exposed to a material that contained it.....perhaps because of the amount and the form these chemicals are in once they are contained within the material.
As I said earlier, I would tend to get further testing done (different testing) if you can and perhaps that might give you more options to weigh up and compare.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. My testing was done with Biocomp Labs in CO, a competitor of Clifford Consulting Labs. I've spoken with both of these labs and understand they share a different philosophy when it comes to whether there is a problem with AL leaching out. Biocomp does test AL in a liquid form. How did they test you with the actual product (in its "bound" form)?
I did have a Meridian Stress test done prior to the blood serum testing but it basically only tested porcelain products. I had a problem with some and not with others. It was a very limited test that my doctor recommmended. He offered to do Kinesiology ( ?SP sorry) testing but I've read it is only 60% accurate so I'm not too big on more testing. I've gone out of state to an actual "Huggins dentist" only to find they wanted to charge me more money to research what products to use on my teeth. I don't feel all that good about them as I send my bioreport to them ahead of time and of course, they assured me they would be able to find something for me. Turns out what they recommended had aluminum in it anyway. I contacted the company and then Biocomp. Biocomp spoke to this company and came back to me saying, "Oh, they did not tell us they had AL in the product. You better not use it either !' THis sounds a bit crazy to me but these mfgs are not required to disclose all the materials of a product even on the safety data sheets.
Thanks, Truthseeker
