Do You Know How Complex a Single Cell Is?It wasn’t until 1839 that cell theory was first described by Theodore Schwann in basically its modern form. By 1858, researcher Rudolf Virchow had learned enough about the cell to conclude that every cell must come from a preexisting cell. But Charles Darwin wasn’t paying attention. The very next year he published a book, On the Origin of Species, which theorized that the first cell was formed from non living matter. In Darwin’s day, the cell was thought to be just a simple sac filled with jellied carbon. This concept is the origin of the term protoplasm. However, nearly 150 years of cell research has shown us that even protozoan and fungi cells are hugely complex. Today we know that even the simplest of these cells, eukaryotes, have an estimated 100,000 parts. Many thousands of different operations are taking place continuously within each of the cell’s many parts, called organelles. Furthermore, the cell cannot live until all these parts are working properly. Even the simple E. coli bacterium has 4,000 genes. If we were able to magnify the DNA of the E. coli to the thickness of a clothesline, it would be five miles long! Greetings Russ! Rather than start a separate post, I'm adding another article on this same topic. (Thread) Thank you for all you do for His kingdom ! ---------------- "Have Scientists Created a Living Cell?"By: Brian Thomas, M. S. 'This research verifies that the Creator's handiwork is fabulous. If a team of brilliant scientists only succeeded in copying information from a germ to a computer and back to a germ, then the Originator of that information must be far more billiant and worthy of acclaim.' This is a splendid, and most important issue. I just discovered how important the evolutionists regard it. Did you know teaching children what cells DO - just the facts of what they are and what goes on in there - constitutes "teaching creationism" if you omit to brainwash them with evodogma? Oh yes. The Cellcraft Game was put together as an educational tool for children. The team included people on both sides of the ID/evolution controversy, so they just left out origins altogether. The Evolanders are insisting this amounts to "teaching creationism". Can you blame them? Can anyone look at the innards of a cell without realizing it was created by intelligence far beyond our own? Of course not. Copious amounts of brainwashing are required, if there is to be any hope the kids'll grow up Godless. The babblers are plaguing them systematically. For every good comment anyone makes, there's a troll responding What troubles me is the creationist (ID) nature of the game. For that reason I don't believe it is a good tool for teaching science to children. For parties who haven't given this much thought, perhaps it'll wake some of 'em up. You can't just teach the facts? WHY NOT? This is a fanatical religion and it demands a minimum display of loyalty at all times. People, if you haven't ever done so, please take a little time and research organelles. See a little of what goes on inside cells. See what no True Evolander® wants you to know.
Dark Matter + Dark Energy = Dark Truth"We find that such evidence demonstrates that the ID argument is dependent upon setting a scientifically unreasonable burden of proof for the theory of evolution." - Judge Jones Kitzmiller case http://www.talkreason.org/articles/Falsify.cfm"To Compel A Man To Furnish Funds For The Propagation Of Ideas He Disbelieves And Abhors Is Sinful And Tyrannical." - Thomas Jefferson "And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath?" - Thomas Jefferson
