Lauren just a note. You probably already know this, but just in case. It is not usually recommended to use a brain chelator like cilantro until the blood levels of mercury have been reduced. They start to come down during the months following complete amalgam removal. So usually after 3 months or so it should be safer to use.
I'm sure you know Cutler does not typically recommend cilantro, because it is not understood how it works regarding the removal of mercury, so he cannot set out a protocol for it. Whereas he can with DMSA/DMPS and ALA to keep the blood levels level and the movement of mercury alot more stable.
However, some people opt for cilantro anyway for various reasons and it may indeed help, as long as blood levels are reduced first. Some may find it problematic if it's creating too much redistribution. I guess this too can depend how well a person's elimination is working. I have always had big problems with mobilsing toxins because I have imbalanced liver phases I and II and gut problems, so it's very easy for me to get myself into dire straits! Not so easy to recover.
Even too much exercise is warned about by Cutler because of mobilising too many toxins at once which may overwhelm the body's ability to keep up with it all. For me, I MUST exercise if I am to keep things circulating and toxins moving through more freely because if I don't, I get into big trouble. But if I overdo it, for sure, I see the results of too much mobilisation! So I need to rest until that subsides. Moderate exercise is very beneficial to detoxification - for me, essential.
