Hi, I'm thinking of taking algin to prevent the re-absorping in the intestinals..then I read that algin is the active material in brown kelps so I wonder if it's not preferable to eat that kelps and if the kelp really doesn't contain mercury..I also don't know what is better to take-algin (or kelps) or oxy-cleanse/oxy-powder..

Algin has been an amazing help to many of the people that I have spoken to. If you get Algin made by NSP, it is screened to meet California guidelines for contamination, which are the strictest in the country.
The action of algin and oxy-products are complete different, so I don't think it would be an "either-or" type of decision.
Algin, in my opinion, is a must during mercury detox.
