Tulsi for some reason is hardly in herbal books in American and basically unkown, it's HUGE in India and they sell the tea here which I buy (Till I get my plant from him, fresh is always best). I have read alot on it and it sounds great, I feel alot calmer after it too and get more energy some days to say the least. It is an adaptogen which if you read about is very beneficial to you. I use Ginger right now, Tulsi and am going to add garlic too this week. Do you use Probiotics too? What do you think of those JK? I have a pound of Olive Leaf and I am going to add that too soon, I have a book on it and boy does it do a WHOLE LOT! Thats a great Herb and I need to use it up. BTW do you take the real stuff or just the powder alot of times with spices? I buy the Ginger root and slice it up, much stronger FRESH than just a powder.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
