I read in one of Hulda Clark's book that all dairy should be boiled.
How do you boil butter? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I personally think that Hulda Clark goes a bit overboard with hygiene.
I'm no authority on the subject but I think that Hulda Clark does not provide a good protocol for eliminating toxins from the body. As a result the body is still extremely susceptible to parasites and hence careful hygiene must be followed.
Some people think that milk shouldn't be pasteurised at all. I have consumed unpasteurised goat milk for about a year with no ill side-effects.

You can "boil" butter by making it into ghee, which is better for you, in any case.

Carla, do you know why ghee is better than butter? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

My understanding is that the impurities are contained not in the oil part of the butter, but in the milk part, the part you skim off when you make the ghee. If you find making ghee laborious it can be bought in Asian/Indian food stores.
Also, by making your own, you can choose butter from a so-called organic dairy, where I think the quality is higher, and the animals treated better. At least, I sure hope so.
Now, I'm going to go and do some research on ghee. I like the fact that it is a traditional product from an old culture; trad. peoples, while not perfect and making mistakes like everyone else, had a way of separating out the good from the bad through trial & error over centuries.

Hello, I'm back. I found a really good article on ghee preparation on www.hinduismtoday.com I am not Hindu or preaching the Hindu religion - I just think that a traditional perspective is best and can give some insights into food that may be absent from a purely scientific, technological approach. Tk. you, Russ, for indulging me. I am not trying to undermine or disrespect your Christian religion. (I love most religions, except for one or two.)
