Erm, I wouldn't take ALA. If you've still mercury actively swimming around your system the ALA can move the mercury upto the brain.

I'd always go with the Chlorella over DMSA at first merely because of the side-effects some people experience with DMSA.

Be aware the though, I've tried two brands of Chlorella (Im in the UK and the brands are local to the UK -- well produced in the UK, Im unsure where the chlorella actually comes from) and only one has made me feel well and cured my bowel problems. So shop around. In fact one is said to be "Chinese Chlorella" (the one that worked) and the other is normal Chlorella -- I'm unsure if there's a difference.

While you've got your fillings in I'd stay off both DMSA and Chlorella for the time being and go with something that doesn't actively seek out the mercury as that may be making you feel worse, it may be too much for your body to deal with. Obviously the site owners will tout Align, and as I've heard good reports from at least one other board member I'd recommend buying the Align as it doesn't seek mercury (flooding your system wthl possibly too much mercury) but just soaks it up.

If you can't afford the Align, I'd go with Chlorella only because it may help your bowel health. But I didn't try Chlorella with my fillings in, so I don't know for sure if it'd be a good idea or not.

After you've got the filling out I'd concentrate on good quality Chlorella (bad quality has mercury in it from its environment - test as many brands as possible) as it helps rid the bowels of mercury, and you need your bowel to be in good working order to rid yourself of mercury.

For the time being I'd stay off all fish and only drink bottled water. Eat plenty of fruit (Esp vitamin C rich stuff) and veg.

Don't give up! Things will get better!
