I've read that the Illuminati want to reduce the population of the world by two thirds and that would make the world's population a little bit more than two billion. However, I'm also familiar with the Georgia Guidestones which call for the world's population to be under 500 million.

Since God says that two thirds of the world's population will die during the Tribulation I think that's the more realistic figure.
