Hi Nina,
You mentioned perhaps seeing a psychologist to try and get help with getting through the emotional aspect of this illness.
I certainly understand doing that if it helps you deal with the fact that you've been ill so long and with so many difficult symptoms. What I was refering to is how different my whole emotional being works now that I've had my amalgams removed. In fact, I'm going to write a paper on it and publish it.
So many people feel fearful, depressed, lonely, suicidal, helpless and so many other emotions that I lived with in intensity all of my life. When my amalgams were removed, all these negative emotions went away. It was as dramatic as the physical changes I went through, in some ways, moreso.
In my studies, I've concluded this:
If a human is well nourished and not toxic, they will usually be emotionally healthy and able to deal with most that life throws at them. Mercury toxicity is especially potent in the area of making people feel these horrible emotions.
I think (my personal opinion) based on what I've seen you write over time, is that there is a toxicity issue with you, and mercury seems to fit the symptoms. I know that the hospital toxicity tests are virtually worthless. It's been very hard for you to see patterns or changes in your symptoms based on the supplements you've taken so it's hard to pin down the source of the problem, but it must be there, somewhere. Emotions are very closely tied to our body chemistry and this is important.
I would write everything down and try going through a pattern of supplements and dietary changes to see how your body responds in each case to gain insight to the real cause. Look for patterns but be sure to write it all down. It has to be methodical. Perhaps it would be helpful to have someone help you determine when you're having an emotionally good day or a bad day as well because sometimes it's hard for us to see this in ourselves.
Sorry for all the trouble you've been through. There has to be a solution somewhere.
