i just joined yesterday. i am only 36 but the past 4 years i have gone from a healthy athlete to completely the opposite spectrum. i have 16 amalgams and just took te initial step to find out how much it would cost to remove them safely. the dental insurance i have is not the best, so i may only get 2 out tis year. the holistic dentist estimated it at 14 grand. my husband is a pastor and well on his salary tat is impossible. i have 3 girls, i ave alsways been a stay at home mom...i find myself between a rock and a hard place. i am sooooo sick. but yet i need to go back to work to pay for this outrages ordeal. thyroid and adrenals, food allergies,hypoglycemia, weight gain, anxiety , depression, memory loss, just a very spacey off balance feeling all of te time. so many other symptoms... i have so many questions. but i will tackle one at a time on this forum. thank you so much for this place ... i am working with a holistic doctor (all out of pocket) with supplements and taking one day at a time. i am not sure how i will pay for this , i have been praying and asking God to make a way. i believe He will. when i went to this holistic dentist he showed me this device that measures the "exposure"or something like that ...he gasped when it touched the first tooth...and said he had never seen this high of a reading. i will only be able to take out one at a time. my first question is...is ther e a way to prove it where "medical" insurance would cover it too? this next question is will some of the neurological damage be permanent?
i must add that i know there is a corrolation btwn my teeth ad my health.2 years ago i had to have a root canal. my dentist argued the whole time ...i wanted him to take out the filling and replace it. i did not know you had to be safe about removal.. 2 weeks later i called my holistic doctor and told her my hands were burning like they were on fire. she did not know i had been to the dentist. she would have warned me to not do what i did. i was listening to her and she askedme if i had had any dental work done. i said yep. she said that the extraction pulled all of my b12 out of my body and since then i have beenon high doses of b12 including shots 2 times a week. she told me my body was to weak to take the fillings out, she just released me to start having them extracted. it is the issue. i know.!!! it is a daunting task but i will see to the end of it. through this journey i will be asking lots of questions . i have also taken a 24 yhour urine test that came back with high levels of mercury and lead and arsenic. any help and advice is so appreciated. thanks
