Firefox Running Slow

Firefox is a great browser. It is fast, flexible, and standards-compliant.

However, if you have the famous Firebug add-on, Firefox can run slow and jerky, hanging for a second or more on a regular basis.

To remedy this, click Tools then Add-ons. Highlight Firebug and click the Disable button. Now restart Firefox and your problem is solved.

If you need to re-enable Firebug in the future, just follow the same instructions but click the "Enable" button instead.
