Make Windows Explorer open in a different folder (not My Documents)

(1) Open the Windows Explorer Properties
- Right-Click the Windows Explorer Icon
- Left-Click Properties

(2) Set the Default Path
In the "Target" textbox you will see:
Code
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe

Change it to the following:
Code
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\

Where "C:\" is the default directory to open.

Another example:
Code
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\Program Files\Alleycode\Templates

This opens Windows Explorer in this directory:
C:\Program Files\Alleycode\Templates

Nice timesaver!
