Counter Attack: War with the Atheists
Abrasive Atheists, Silly Scientists, Shallow Scholars, Pagan Preachers, and Embattled Evolutionists have declared war against Christ, Christians, and Churches. I think it is time we stopped playing games and realized that we are in a war. No, we will not stop preaching the Gospel and winning people to Christ but we must also do more to provide average church members with the tools to answer the accusations and arguments of the “Brights” as they like to call themselves. If they are the “Brights” you can imagine what they think you and I are.
In the last few years, atheists in England and America have launched a plethora of books, articles, television interviews, etc., to proclaim their message: there is no God and in fact those who believe in Him are a virus, a disease on humanity. And we have no right to teach such things to our own children!
Those people are serious and so am I. I accept their declaration of war by facing them head on with the truth. My new book, Counter attack! Atheists are waging war against God: Abrasive Atheists, Silly Scientists, Shallow Scholars, Pagan Preachers, and Embattled Evolutionists have declared war against Christians, Churches, and Christ will be published later this year.
I have been facing these dudes in university debates, talk shows, and newspaper columns for over 40 years, but I am going to be more aggressive in answering them and providing help for church members who don’t have the time or resources to do this work for themselves.
I have read their books and listened to their television interviews. Let me tell you the shocking results as I close each of their books: It is amazing how stupid and blind those people are. After reading the best they have to offer to prove God does not exist, I am almost embarrassed for them! For the most part, most of them, use old, old arguments that have been answered many times, but those dudes either don’t know that fact or have chosen to ignore the facts and hope to convert the weakest among us with their silly objections.
For example, almost all of them bring up the “two creation” accounts! Plus scores of other similar arguments. Most also tell us that there is no evidence that the Jews spent hundreds of years in Egyptian slavery so the Bible is not reliable. Just this year, hundreds of gold, silver, and ivory Egyptian coins were found with the word “Joseph” and his likeness along with the image of the reigning Pharaoh plus the date and coin’s worth! One coin even had the image of a cow reminiscent of Pharaoh’s dream. In addition, many chariot wheels (with 8 spokes) have been found in the Red Sea and those wheels had to be made during the time of Hebrew bondage. No evidence of Hebrews in Egypt? Furthermore, drawings in Thebes show foreign slaves making bricks as Exodus clearly tells us.
I could go on and on and I do in my messages/lectures/sermons that I call “Confrontation Evangelism.” It is Operation Counterattack. I speak three of four times on answering the Bible critics using scripture, history, science, archeology, etc., to prove that atheists are not only fools but religious fanatics. Why do these people make such a big deal of their belief in “no god.” They don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Tinker Bell, and the Easter Bunny but none of them are writing books and yelling about how they don’t believe in them. My point is that they must not be sure of what they believe since they have such a compulsion to always talk about what they don’t believe in.

Public Schools: My Answer to Their Problems!

This is my application to President Obama to be appointed his Education Czar enabling me to solve the massive problems in the nation’s public schools. I will work without pay since I would not plan to have the job very long. The public schools have been kicked around a great deal in recent years, and I plan to kick them even more. I contend that public education gets far more respect than it deserves. If taxpayers really knew what was going on in most classrooms they would storm the schools and tar and feather the teachers and staff.
Full disclosure: I am a lifetime critic of public education. Most of my education was in Christian colleges and universities. All of my children were educated in Christian schools through the university level. Same with some of my grandchildren. I would not be saddened if public schools fell to the ground like a rotten piece of fruit. I believe in separation of school and state since there is not a word in the U. S. Constitution about education!
If I were the Education Czar, I would make major changes that would restore sanity, safety, and scholarship to schools:
*All principals and administrators would be required to have classroom experience. I would cut the number of administrators by 25%. They really aren’t that necessary to a quality school. I would not be concerned about their college training but their knowledge, experience, and common sense.
*Each student would be tested to ascertain his grade level in math and reading then an educational prescription would be written followed by a personalized curriculum designed for his specific needs. It is educational folly to assume that all ten-year-olds are working at the same level in all subjects! To place all students in the same grade determined by their age is an administrative convenience. It is one of the biggest mistakes made in all schools -- public, private, and Christian.
*All students would be tested for their knowledge in hard-core subjects: math, English, history, geography, spelling, and science. If funding is available, music and art would also be taught. All “frill” subjects would be scrapped and sports would be limited to the upper grades.
*Repeal all compulsory attendance laws. If a kid wants to be a bum, let him be a bum. After all, the attendance laws are seldom enforced anyway.
*All security guards would be fired and each school would boast at least two armed teachers. It would be commonly known that at least two anonymous teachers with proper gun training would be in each school. Those teachers would be paid an extra $1000 per year. Students would be told that the armed teachers would be expected to shoot any student who seeks his “fifteen minutes of fame” by killing others.
*I would hire teachers regardless of their degree. In fact, I would prefer teachers not educated in teachers’ colleges–hotbeds of incompetence. I would hire teachers who have character and would fire any teacher who boozed, used illegal drugs, or slept around. Those teachers would stay fired. I would demand that any teacher having sex with a student would spend 25 years in prison.
*There would be no smoking on school grounds by anyone at any time.
*All teachers and staff would dress up not down. All men would wear dress shirts and ties and women would wear dresses or skirts and blouses.
*Teachers would receive merit pay depending on the progress of their students. I would also pay them an extra $1000 if they agreed not to join the NEA!
*Schools would be for education, not to make kids feel better about themselves. Those elementary students who disobey would be paddled on the rear, a place provided by a designing God for that purpose. Any disobedient, disruptive, or disorderly high school student would be led to the front door and told to never return.
*Each student would be expected to read by the end of the first grade. If not, he would not be passed to the second grade. Any normal child can be taught to read if the teacher knows how to teach. It is commonly known that children in Christian kindergartens learn to read before the end of that year.
*No student would be promoted without a passing grade.
*All students would be assigned a seat and no one would be permitted to move around the room or to speak without permission. The teacher would rule the room like a tin horn dictator of a Banana Republic!
*All students would be taught the Ten Commandments each year and when caught in a lie would be required to write on the board 100 times, “Thou shalt not lie.” When caught stealing, they would write, “Thou shalt not steal.”
*Any student who brings weapons to school, is involved in violence, uses booze or illegal drugs would be expelled permanently.
*Any student, teacher, administrator, or school board member suggesting that sex ed, death ed, etc., be added to the curriculum would be tarred and feathered!
My last act in office would be to close down the Department of Education putting thousands of federal workers back into productive work and off the backs of taxpayers.
Then I might consider becoming Obama’s Energy Czar! Obama, you have my phone number.

Haiti Earthquake News:
The world has been shaken by the earthquake that took an estimated 100,000 lives and thousands of victims are still buried under rubble while injured are dying from lack of care. Bodies are stacked like cordwood along the streets. Injured people wander the streets with no place to go. Help has poured in from all over the world but much of that “help” will end up on the black market and in the hands of corrupt officials.
Many Christian groups are trying to get in to help the victims.. I don’t support secular groups, even good ones, since lost people will do that. I choose to help people who are on the ground and usually it will go to help fellow-Christians.
My good friend of over 40 years, Dr. Gene Ryker, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton, IN has an active ministry in Haiti and is sending help that will go directly to the people of churches he and his ministry began. I sent him a hundred dollars. Surely if an evangelist can do that many of you and your churches can something to help him help others. He told me that not one cent will go for postage; every dollar will go directly to help the victims.

Are Priests, Preachers and Most Religious Leaders Charlatans?
I’m not sure where to begin since your diatribe was so outrageous and filled with hatred.
You charged, without any supporting facts, “Priests, preachers and most religious 'leaders' are nothing more than charlatans or cheap hucksters who live like parasites on stupid people who put their money in the plate to watch a slime ball carnival sideshow barker entertain them.” I thought you might follow up with some data you have collected to prove your declaration, but it has not arrived. Did you forget to send it? Do you have any to send? Do you know whether you are pitching or catching? Surely you don’t mean to indict thousands of selfless missionaries and pastors who live on subsistence wages to help people hear, understand, and accept the truth that Jesus saves. How about Christian schoolteachers who live on $10,000 per year to teach kids the Bible, English, History, and other subjects.
Even many religious leaders that I think are doing enormous harm by mishandling the Bible are sincere although very wrong.
You charged, “Preachers get money from the government to help keep the mindless herds of sheeple in line and they also won't risk losing that tax exempt status or the other numerous perks given to 'clergy.' What preachers “get money from the government”? Some preacher, almost always of the liberal stripe, do get government funds to run their various ministries, and that is unwise of them and unconstitutional for the government in my opinion.
You waxed eloquent when you wrote, “They live high on the hog that you idiots pay for and don't give a tinkers d*** about the fools that d*** near worship them. It is now a PROVEN fact that the leading profession in pedophilia is the priestcraft, clergycraft and Jewish Rabbis are leading the pack. You dumba**** keep handing your precious children over to lying lazy dogs to rape and sodomize your kids.” You paint every preacher, priest, and rabbi as being a child molester which is unconscionable. I am not a fan of priests, rabbis, and liberal preachers but it is slanderous to suggest that all are molesters. You are correct if you are suggesting that there are too many molesters in the pulpits. They should be in prison.
You closed by declaring, “If you imbeciles would actually read your 'holy' book you would see yahweh was a total bastard who ordered the rape of little girl virgins and jesus and lucifer are one and the same.” Wipe the foam off your mouth and calm down. After all, you could be only one heartbeat from hell. Don’t rush it. I looked for facts to back up you stupid statement but could not find any. I’m sure it was only an oversight. I am eager to discover where God commanded “little girl virgins” to be raped and how you discovered that Satan and Christ “are one and the same.” You do have my address, don’t you? But you will not respond since you a non-thinking, non-informed hater.

Honest Questions Regarding MLK!
Thanks for your response to my MLK article. First of all, the charges against King are not “alleged.” King was an admitted adulterer as I document on my website, www.cstnews.com . No, there is not much discrepancy as to the facts. The taping of King’s hotel room was authorized by Attorney General Bobby Kennedy with support from his brother, Jack Kennedy. J. Edgar Hoover did not have authority to wire tap without a court order.
I have seen no support for King seeking the physical overthrow of our government. He was not the sharpest knife in the drawer but he was sharper than that.
You question how we know about King’s sexual acts, even the accusation of bi-sexual activities, when the King tapes have been sealed from public view. Easy, he admitted some of them and his “best friend” Ralph Abernathy revealed others in his biography! Plus, two liberal black columnists were permitted to listen to some of the tapes and they confirmed the facts.
It is not true that only white Christians and white supremacists have published the criticism of King. I quote many black liberals to support my charges against King. You need to read more widely.
Some government officials challenged the Congress not to pass the King national holiday before they heard the tapes but the liberal herd in Congress refused to listen or demand the tapes. When the tapes are finally released, they will sicken decent people.
Sincerity Will Not Win Muslims: Only Truth With Love Will!
I am always wary of people who self-style themselves as “intellectual” as you did. You professed to “look at the evidence and make a logical determination.” You then added, “I am a spiritual person,” but what does that mean? Are you a born-again Christian through faith in Christ? If not, then you may be “spiritual” but it is not a heavenly spirituality. It comes from the other direction.
You assured me that you are not a hater and bigot then added, “As much as I support the fact that everyone is entitled to their point of view, i think that you are the worst kind of bigot that uses sensationalism to exploit the insecurities of others to further your own agenda. Saying that anyone (sic) group of people is evil is pure inexcusable ignorance, and put (sic) you on the same level as Stalin or Hitler.”
First, my only agenda is truth as yours should be. Everyone is entitled to his point of view but not to his own facts. Please give an example of my bigotry, just one.. Muslims are evil if they interpret the Koran as taught by all traditional Muslims. And to characterize me as being on Hitler and Stalin’s level for believing Muslims are evil is not dumb but super dumb. If you really believe that, you don’t know anything about the two dudes or you have been taking dump pills.

No, you are wrong.. Sincerity will not win. It takes truth supported by facts. I am responsible to teach truth no matter where it leads. Sorry if the facts offend you.. Albert C. Dieffenbach, editor of The Christian Register (a Unitarian journal) published his opinion of leading preacher, Harry Emerson Fosdick during the 1920s when the war between fundamentalists and modernists was waging.
