I know this is not directly mercury related, but since I am just now slowly recovering from mercury poisoning I'm a bit concerned about other possible toxins in the environment since I am now very sensitive to chemicals and toxins.
We received a letter today at work that the roofing material on our building contains a low percentage of asbestos. They claim that US State Department Experts in the field have assured our company that this small amount poses to risk to humans (just like amalgams?)...
Anyways, the place of work is located in Serbia, but it's US property so they have to meet the US Environmental Protection Agency Standards. The two options at hand now are to either replace the asbestos containing materials, or paint them with the approved paint recommended for this purpose called encapsulation. They have decided to go with the latter option, but not until the summer will they start painting.
Just wondering if you think that his could be something to worry about and a health hazard despite what they said?

Hi Nina,
not too sure what you should do!!! How is the air quality overall over there???Is there a lot of pollution??Or is it clean? Since I've been severly ill with mercury, I am very cautious about toxic material too..I don't want to get sicker...All I know is You have to listen to what your gut is telling you...use you intuition...it's always right......I don't trust any government...Sandra P

Nina,
Would HEPA filters help remove asbestos from the air? If so, could you request they put a few in the area?
I realized large numbers of chemtrails being released in my town shortly after having some interesting and different (for me) respiratory issues. I installed three air purifiers in my house and I've experienced a huge difference in my breathing ever since. The issues are gone as well.
Just an idea.
