my holistic dentist only removed some of the filling, maybe 80 per cent

he said the other part was too difficult to remove

it was all done profesionally though

my next question is , how easy is it to recover from poisoning ? what per centage of people do

Fuggles.. that is what my "proffessional" bastard dentist did to me....
Full safety gear etc.... i caught him cheating on the removal off the whole filling, he was going to cover it up in new plastics... he left 1% amalgam where i caught him on the nr.2 tooth... and what i hid under the composites on the nr.1 tooth he drilled, i don't know....

However.. yes.... in my mind.... a broken alloy is more unstanble than a intact alloy...
My broken amalgam remainders tasted amalgam (ink, pencil taste) for months afterwards... worse than before....

But i have still not done anything to fix this... it's neutral today.... atleast taste...
So it may have stabilized....

However... i say... i you're well enough..... than extract that tooth that was "too hard" in his words, to clear out fully....

Extract it!... Drilling is dangerous! My experience.

How easy to recover... that is "no one shoe fits all"....
It takes time for most of us.... Time and patience loaded with hate for the old school dentist who installed that draconic amalgam in the first place while telling you that "hey... you got silver, now you're a rich kid, and a lucky one, ain't ya?!"....

I belive most people here, who give their best tries, get better.
However. for most people... atleast of us here, doing everything we can to recover... it is a continuing challange to tell the truth... atleast to get clean from mercury fast enough, and safely enough....

Fuggles, I think people can recover, but in today's world, it takes time and determination.

If you still have some amalgam material in your mouth, you may want to talk to another dentist about removing the rest. If the amalgam is exposed to the air, you will continually ingest mercury from the fillings. If it is not exposed to the air, mercury still leaches through the gums and enamel.

another question. for some reason I have bright red cheeks, slightly covered in lanugo. I have had my cheeks like this for years

I also have thyroid problems , and my eyebrows have lost the outer third.

Is this related to my fillings ?

All of these things can be overcome, and it really feels great when they are.

yes exactly... You NEED to get rid of ALL the mercur and then our body cen heal and you can be freed from this horrible poison. Don't keep it in your mouth!!! Russ is correct..

I have now no more fillings and it feels much better believe me...
