My hair story follows my OCD and PCOS story.

When my mother was pregnant with me she had a filling, and already had some, so I got exposure to mercury. I was born premature and "very nervous" according to the nurse who delivered me (but considering I had been stuck and they had to pull me out by my legs, that is not surprising, lol).

Anyway, for the first 2 years of my life I had hardly no hair. I was fat and had to be put on a diet, and I wouldn't sleep well for my parents, even though they were feeding me properly. My mother was really worried about my hair. I had a little bit, and that was it.

But my hair grew eventually and by the time I was 7 I had thick curly hair.

Then I started to get amalgam, braces and sealant, and by the time I was 12 not only did I have OCD but I had very thin hair. I didn't get a period until I was almost 15 and I was never regular my friends. My periods were heavy, painful, and I was getting other problems like migraines and pins and needles and I won't go on, lol.

But when I stopped with the braces and getting fillings, became vegetarian so ate no seafood, my OCD got better and my hair got thick again. Hairdressers once again commented on how thick my hair was. My periods were still not regular and I was getting thrush, but the most gap I had between periods was 3 months.

Then I got a root filling (huge mistake) at 22, and within 2 years I noticed that my hair was thinning. I was also getting some body hair. My periods also virtually stopped.

I went to see the doctor about this (again and again and again) and finally they diagnosed PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) based on no periods, hair problem and acne. According to them I also have anxiety disorder, labyrinthitis, rhinitis, and RSI.

I think that mercury has been a problem for me my whole life.
