I think chlorella was touted as a herbal DMSA a while back. I was going to buy some DMSA but then I decided to stick with Chlorella due to the success I've had with it. Chlorella is completely natural as well. Make sure any you get is pure, as it attacts mercury in its environment too.

High doses of chlorella have been found to be very effective in Germany for mercury elimination.92

Chlorella is an important part of the systemic mercury elimination program, as approximately 90% of the mercury is eliminated through the stool. Using large doses of chlorella facilitates fecal mercury excretion. After the intestinal mercury burden is lowered, mercury will more readily migrate into the intestine from other body tissues from where chlorella will effectively remove it.

It's certainly helped my bowel movements. I've always been quite constipated.

At the moment im on the candida diet to remove my yeast infection, so it's likely mercury will be seeping out of that infection (a controversial view but one my personal experience backs up), and so this may link to why i've been unable to defecate atm. But chlorella has fixed that.

I always go on a bit of a rollercoaster when on Chlorella, but the highs are really excellent and the lows managable.

You're not suppose to take dmsa for long periods of time, so you ould try that in breaks.
