I was reading something and I thought it was interesting..
I know you probably have heard of it it has to do with the purkinje cells and the cellerbellum..
A class of GABAergic neurons located in the cerebellar cortex. ...
A specific type of nerve cell that carries each and every piece of information outputted by the cerebellum.
Not only are they in the brain they are in the heart too.
Also the purkinje cells also have to do with sensory stimuli and movement.
You've heard about this in autism as well about the purkinje cells .
And on the ASD spectrum one can have all sorts of sensory and sound issues.
Plus there are alot of sensory inputs in the cellerbellum.
The function of the cerebellum has been the topic of many theories and models, maybe more so than any other brain structure.
To this day researchers don’t fully agree on what the function of the cerebellum is in detail.
Recent findings have shown that the cellerbellum may be intimately involved in acoustic processing in the hearing of whales & dolphins.
In timeing & sound location in the brown bat and acoustics of the biosonar signals and frequency senstivity in the mustached bat.
There's so many other things I've read out there but what I found interesting is...
I was reading this..
Could it be possible for neurological problems to improve in this part of the brain and who knows where else in the brain based on a gluten free diet..

This is what I read posted on this link in detal..
Food for thought????
Plus it was really sad what happened to that Cheerleader who suffered a side effect from the flu shot which gave her a pretty bad case of dystonia..
But this is an interesting concept indeed..
Here it is......

http://www.wemove.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=000225;p=0

I am still trying to figure out exactly why so many of my nuerological problems are going away on the gluten free diet.
Ataxia, myoclonus, visual problems, etc.

Since myoclonus and dystonia are related ...
I googled dystonia and found out it can be caused by loss or damage to the purkinje cells ...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dystonia

Primary dystonia is caused by a pathology of the central nervous system, likely originating in those parts of the brain concerned with motor function,
such as the basal ganglia, and the GABA producing Purkinje neurons.
The precise cause of primary dystonia is unknown.
In many cases it may involve some genetic predisposition towards the disorder combined with environmental conditions.

Evironmental conditions..
Oh yes, Combined with environmental conditions so to say..
and we know that mercury can effect the Purkinje cells causes cell loss and damage..
Who knows maybe what that poster posted may help some other neurological conditions as well..
As Mercury seems to effects the gut and it's in the flu shot in a big dose..
I wonder if a Gluten Free Diet could help the Cheerleader gal.
In some way..
