Ole, do you remember I mentioned this happened to me too? When I had amalgams, I could tolerate garlic FAR more. In fact, I liked how I felt on it quite often. However, once I started the amalgam removal process? After full amlagam removal, the reactions to garlic changed and became, at times, quite intolerable. Similar to taking one cap of DMSA.
I could not tolerate taking DMSA, unless it was Cutler's way. I consider this redistribution symptoms, rather than the product itself. Because the manner in which I took the DMSA made ALL the difference as I've mentioned.
But yeah, what causes this with garlic? Is it that mercury become much more easily mobilised after amalgam removal because the body goes from storage mode into detox mode? Cutler does mention that once all amalgams are out, the body does begin dumping mercury. So does garlic more readily bounce it around, since it's far more accessible?
Certainly I did start getting quite extreme reactions from it and other sulfur foods (but more from garlic) post amalgam removal. Other sulfur foods began to make me feel very sickly and toxic, which was also mobilisation, but nothing compared to how incredibly strong garlic was.
