My daughter is trying to figure out whether to use an IUD. One option is a plastic one she doesn't feel good about because it releases hormones and stops the cycle. The one she is considering is one made of copper. Trying to weigh the options and gather some information on risks of toxicity for her and her baby who she is breastfeeding. Anyone have any knowledge on the subject? Personally I never used birth control so have no experience. The pill makes her too moody. They're poor college students so have limited resources and options. ????? Thanks much for any feedback whatsoever on this.
