A few months ago after much research I learned I have severe mercury poisoning from my fillings. My symptoms got much worse after one of my fillings cracked.
Now I have discovered a lump on my breast.
I went to the Dr. on Friday and needless to say she is sending me for a mammogram and a breast ultrasound.
I started to research breast cancer - just in case it is and I need to prepare myself for it as I am NOT getting chemo or a mastectomy, I will find alternatives through a naturopath or homeopath. Anyway's, I did come across some info that there is a link of mercury toxicity and cancer. Has anyone else come about this information?
This Dr. also turned this visit into a physical and said I should have my cholesterol checked as I am 39 and should start doing this. Well, I then proceeded to ask her if there was a way to test me for mercury poisoning through either blood or urine tests. You should have seen the look on her face! She said she would have to go and look into this as she has not heard of this. So she came back in the room and said they check it through my blood. I told her I believe I have mercury poisoning due to the fillings in my mouth. Well you know these naive orthodox Dr's. know nothing about anything, so I look at her like she is quacked and she at me likewise!
Well, I then go to the lab to have my blood drawn right and I am waiting and waiting and finally I go and ask what is the hold up. This tech is on the phone trying to figure out how to do this mercury draw as they don't know what to do!
It turned out to be that they couldn't do it as they need a special vile to put the blood in and they need to order one. So they are supposed to call me back sometime this week when it comes in.
Now my question is is it just one test to check for mercury or are there special procedures in detecting it in the testing? I want to be able to tell them what to do here so they do this right. Also, is it known that there is a link between mercury and cancer?
Thanks for your advise, Teri
