Can a compound of iron and oxygen be the "simplest stable form"? How about ethanol or sugar...are they "simplest stable forms"? Amino acids? Proteins? Lipids? RNA? DNA? Are they in their simplest stable form?

What is it about the "settling" of matter into its "simplest stable form" that prevents DNA from changing within populations of organisms?

The problem occurs long before that. Evolution is a myth that cannot get off the found, much less to DNA.

When you begin with rocks and water, simplest stable forms are, well, simple.

More complex forms are only "stable" when they are in a complex environment. But how do you get a complex environment from rocks and water?

You can't, unless, of course, these environments are intelligently created.

So again I say: Evolution cannot even get off the ground.

But we weren't writing about abiogenesis. This discussion is about evolution. If you wish to discuss abiogenesis and the ramifications of your "simplest stable form" chemical law on that possibility, I suggest you start a thread on that subject. I could start a thread on it if you would like.

For this thread, I would like to keep the subject narrowly focused on evolution.

Of course you would, and you would like to omit many other things as well.

Problem is, all of these subjects are intimately connected.

Evolution attempts (poorly) to explain cell to man, but what about rock to cell.

Creation solves all of these problems, not only elegantly, but with sufficient evidence.

When studying, we mustn't omit things, even if it feels right.
