Thiols in turmeric? I doubt it. No one claims that turmeric chelates heavy metals. Turmeric increases bile flow, which helps detoxify the liver. Turmeric also kill parasites. Perhaps a strong reaction to turmeric might mean that your gall bladder isn't working so well, you might have a parasite problem, or the stimulation of the gall bladder is causing many toxins to be released into the bile, but that your body is reabsorbing the toxins? I guess it is a good idea to eat extra soluble fiber when one is taking turmeric. Many here have had parasites. Toxins in the liver released through the intestines must go through the bile. Fiber helps trap bile so it isn't recycled. That is why it is important to eat plenty of soluble fiber while chelating. While DMSA cause most of the mercury it chelates to be released via the urine, ALA causes mercury to be released via the bile. The worst thing is to be constipated while chelating. Since bile is so important for detoxification, and fat stimulates biles production, it helps explain why some on a low fat diet do so poorly. Perhaps a good strategy is to eat some nuts or other vegetable fat together with foods that have soluble fiber. http://www.innvista.com/health/herbs/coriande.htmhttp://www.innvista.com/health/herbs/turmeric.htmhttp://www.vitaminstuff.com/herbs-turmeric.htmlhttp://www.holisticonline.com/Herbal-Med/_Herbs/h27.htmhttp://www.innvista.com/health/herbs/ginger.htmhttp://www.innvista.com/health/herbs/garlic.htm Read this here.Supplements high in sulfur/thiol groups ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid or Thioctic Acid). Obviously this needs to be used for chelation purposes at some point, whether you are sulfur intolerant or not, but it MUST always be used properly, according to its half-life, as described in Andy Cutler's oral chelation protocol. If you are sulfur-sensitive, you may only to tolerate small amounts of ALA, so start low just in case. This is not always true, but worth remembering. Also, do not take ALA during your sulfur exclusion trial. bromelain and papain (use enzymes derived from animals) chlorella, cysteine dairy source acidophilus, DMSO, extracts of the high sulphur foods, glutathione, NAC, MSM, Methionine (converts down into cysteine) Turmeric is really good at raising thiol levels. It is not high in Thiols but it is really good at raising Thiol Levels. You might be right on the parasites though, I can feel bad or spacey (Bugged out) and weak just taking something that kills the bugs or the Candida! Reishi Mushroom even makes me feel zapped and get bad die offs (It is very good at boosting the immune system). Maybe I get with something and just stick with it, stick through the bad days and then get the results. Cayenne was one of the ones that really bothered me, I felt really dizzy and heart skipping beats etc., maybe I am just that toxic that things like Garlic and Cayenne prove too strong for me to start out on? That might be it.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
