Fiber helps to prevent bile from being recyled, so that mercury excreted in the bile has less of a chance being absorbed. The big question is how well cilantro causes mercury excretion, which I guess would be almost all through the bile. DMSA causes most of its mercury excretion via the urine, so there isn't a chance of reabsorption via the urine.

"I have felt bad off alot of things which mainly contain sulfur, ALA does contain that right?"

Yes. Both ALA and DMSA are sulphur based. I wonder if the chelating compound in cilantro is also sulpur based, although reaction to different sulphur compunds can vary.

I am not saying that cilantro is bad, far from it. In fact cilantro has been shown to be antimicrobial, and some of the antimicrobial compounds in it have been identified. I am worried about possible redistribution of mercury by cilantro though. As I already said, using cilantro with DMSA seems to make sense, but using it withought DMSA might cause plenty of redistribution of mercury. We just don't know.
Cilantro is low in thoils (However you spell it). It is not the sulfur I read really as meat has alot, it's more of how much or if it contails thiols. I believe Turmeric is very good at raising thiols, which is why I react to it.

I don't now how Cilantro works really though, I know it did not bother me that much like some other things I took (Kelp seems to get me bad, the powder). I react to certain things and do well on others, guess I have to listen to my body.

In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
