No problem James.

I would personally skip Hal Huggins advice on chelation if I was you and stick to Andy's. Hal is good on certain things, but I found his advice on DMSA was totally wrong and made me get violent reactions because of the redistribution of mercury. Even at a low dose!

Cutler has it right. Taking it every 3-4 hours around the clock WORKS. It keeps everything much more stable and you can continue to chelate, plus the benefit is, you're taking more of the stuff long term and getting more mercury out.

I'd probably take even doses of ALA and DMSA. But I'm not sure if it matters "too" much.

Yes you can take ALA alone if you wish. DMSA can make things easier, but it's not essential. I don't know much about algin. I never took it. It is not a chelating agent. Some feel it can help with symptoms.

I would try and stick to Cutler's advice if you can. I have found it to be the most sound. No he's not superman, but you only have to read the testimonies and the background.

I just got an email by the way of somebody who has started using his protocol and is now getting well after years of poisoning.

I just did a round of ALA myself. 60 mg. I think something may have happened. I appear to have come up with a mercury rash (something that only happened in the past when attempting to detox mercury). I don't want to get excited just yet and I need to do more rounds to be sure. This maybe of course because I"ve had a recent exposure to mercury via somebody's cigarette smoking. But fingers crossed! Apart from that? I didnt' notice many symptoms. Sometimes there is a worsening or flaring of yeast though and I tend to find I do get worse, especially after the round has ended. Though I assume that maybe some redistribution as the remaining moving mercury is then reabsorbed till the next round.
