Demi,

Your dr. probably doesn't believe you because of his/her lack of knowledge in the matter, but WE do. I believe your problem is the mercury which is causing the adrenal problem which in turn results in the missed periods. Your Dr. is right about needing to have regular periods (which means your body is doing what it is suppose to be doing) as too much estrogen does cause cancer.

It was mentioned about the B vitamins for your adrenals and I know that B6 is a precursor for the production of progesterone (as well as zinc). The test they do show you are not deficient in anything (blood serum levels only show blood levels not what is going on in the rest of your body), but it doesn't show what is being used by your body. As you said, the mercury blocks many things.

I think they are feeding you balony about the mini-pill. Progesterone is the hormone that helps you become and stay pregnant. "The pill" is designed to prevent pregnancy. The mini-pill has lower amounts of estrogen as compared to the other "pill" but it is still estrogen.
They are wanting to p[ut you on that because that is their #1 choice to give women when they are having female problems. Again, they aren't looking to fix what is wrong, just to mask a symptom. I would certainly research on the internet and find out exactly what all is in it for myself.

There are good sites and books by these people that explain so much on this. Ann Louise Gittleman (nutritionist), Dr. John R. Lee. I checked these out of the library first and then ordered them from amazon.com, but you may be able to get what you need from the internet.

I have learned- don't make any decision until you research everything for yourself. I have made several mistakes in my treatment the last few years listening to Dr./dentist and wanting to hurry and find the answer.

Dr. Huggins talks about in his book, how there is a thought that the uterous is sort of a storage place for mercury or something to that effect. (I haven't read it in a while) It obviously is being affected by the mercury.

Ann Louise Gittleman in her book- Living Beauty Detox- says that progesterone should be kept in a 200:1 ratio with estrogen. With all the chemicals in our environment that have estrogenic effects, it is no wonder that women are out of balance and have so many problems.

I know I probably sound like a mad woman, but I hate to see you further stress out your body with a drug that will have to be detoxed by your already stressed liver and the extra estrogen will just put you over the edge. My sister's Dr. wanted to put her on the pill as well and it took me much convincing for her to give natural progesterone cream a try before doing that. She has been very pleased with the results and has abandoned the idea of the pill or surgery!
