That's ok, Sean. You feel what is right for you to feel. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and opinions. I try my best to have no ill will towards anyone, for their religious beliefs, no matter what they are.
Now, I don't know if he "truly" didn't believe in God, or that was part of his comedy act, or on-stage personality. It very well could've been. Many people SAY they don't believe in God, but in reality they do.
That said, there are many different religions, and not all worship the same God, and I think freedom of religion is a wonderful thing. Everyone thinks their way is the right way, and if that's what makes them happy, then that's fine by me. I don't believe anyone should FORCE their beliefs on another human, but that each will find the right way on their own, when it's time.
I'm just really laid back. lol!!! I don't follow a base religion either! My religion is GOD like I tell alot of people, some of those other divisions just divide and cause wars or arguments over what should all make us happy. I know it was a part of his act and it was very funny! He is a very funny guy. I didn't mean to get preachy here or make you think I was like one of those overreligious people who judge more than GOD does when it says only God can judge. Thats azzbackwards right lol. I am laid back too, peace.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
