Hi Demi,

If those progesterone pills are synthetic, then I totally agree with Missy..... DO NOT take the synthetic....they are very dangerous, they block the receptors and nothing else can go into that receptor.

I use a progesterone cream and I am very happy with it.....my daughter who was having problems with little or no periods, decided to also use the cream and it has helped her a lot but she also is using Dr. Christopher's Adrenal Formula. Majority of women who are having high estrogen problems are actually Adrenal Exhausted. The adrenals drain the B-vits, low B-vits drain the progesterone.....this is a condenced and simple explanation but it's like a domino effect. And I believe it's very important to feed the body what it is lacking. If your body is producing enough progesterone, then it will naturally lower your estrogen. But you may also need to feed your adrenals.

If you don't want to use a cream, do a search on Vitex.....most women who can't get pregnant or they have miscarriages are low on progesterone.....so it's very important.....also, most women who have the Baby Blues are low on progesterone.

Progesterone is not a contraceptive....it will actually get you pregnant. That's why the "Pill" is a contraceptive because it's high in estrogen, which keeps the body from getting pregnant.

You don't have to take progesterone forever.....take it until you don't need it....and then wean yourself off. And if you take Vitex, don't take the cream, you don't want to double-dip. Also, don't take any progesterone for one week, when your period is or should be.

Raspberries would be much better then wild yam.
