I was wondering how many people here have used Algin and what was the experience like? I've been taking some today and it's definitely had a positive effect even though i've yet to go to the bathroom since taking it. My concentration has improved.
This leads me to the question of thinking that if the mercury is primarily stored in your gut say from swallowing amalgam then wouldn't taking ALA and DMSA be pointless if all it needs is a substance to bind it together and eliminate it? I understand if the mercury is stored in another part of the body the others would be essential but if its simply in the intestine then the two big hitters wouldn't be necessary?
So has anyone got completely better from just using Algin?

Keep in mind that when you chelate(more so with ALA than DMSA) mercury is excreted through the intestines. There may be some mercury that is reabsorbed from the intestines. Algin and other fibers might help get rid of some residual mercury and some candida from the intestines. I do wonder though about some algin and other seaweeds containg arsenic and other toxic heavy metals. Some websites advise people to do a colonic after each chelation round to help get rid of mercury that is in the large intestine, some of which might be absorbed. I think this is a bit radical, however some might feel it is reasonable.
