Ole, good job.

doc, good to hear your going daily. It can't hurt to have a system that is not as congested.

Only time will tell how much this will help but I can say that it's really helped me.

Still squatting! smile

Been about half a year now?!....

I belive this is a major thing parallel or next to saunas and the base, diet!

Duck, my hair has also gotten richer, but i'm not sure if that is due to the saunas i'm doing or the sqauts.... because saunas has ridden me much, not all yet, of psoriassis... Toxicity is going down... i.e.. slowly.. i belive squatting helps with this, but the saunas are the mains.....

However... detoxing on two fronts.... ehmm.. three... sh.. pi.. and sweat... is a good thing....

Still going strong with this.

Thanks again man (Duck)!

How are you doing today btw? and how are the rest of you doing in regard to squatting?

I still do it too, it works to get more out than just sitting. Look up Lower Bowel Blance too Ole and tell me what you think (Colon cleanse product). I have used it for months and lost some of my gut and get alot more out now. Getting that fecal out is a must, squatting and bowel balance herbs could be the key to health for all? Health is in the gut remember, peace.

Read up on it and get back to me or I will post links.

I will look up that c-cleanse you speak of, i have infact given c-cleanses some thought lately... been wondering on the controversal discussions on it's safety, etc.. for a loooong time...

If the tummy is the key to health? Yeah, i belive it's the basis for everything bodily.
Health is in the gut.. yeah... and so is a man's heart.. hehehe smile

I just love good home-gourmet cooking from scratch with real ingredients!

"I will start posting links"..... "on ya!" hehehe... (like if it were a threat) hehehe...

Sorr man.. I'm in a great mood today.... some humor is justified.. atleast for me..
It just sounded so funny..... OR ELSE..... consequences.... hehe..

Ole you are all over the place man lol.

I will post the best links I find on it today for you. This is more than just a colon cleanse btw, it actually gets rid of fecal matter and heals the colon, makes it work properly after taking for months.

No side effects and all herbal with no real laxitives in it, it is far more than just a laxative. I guarantee you this with the squatting would take you to better health, both should work wonders if you do it for months.

Hmm.. i'm sceptical, and have to research the ingredients on it's own, as i don't know much about some of them.

I'm generally sceptical to anything that comes as a finished "product" (Supplements, pills, boxes, etc... with labels and a barcode on them).

However.. i already eat lots of fresh mini chilies in food (naturally), and sometimes in thai restaurants i eat some ginger food too (however i'm careful with ginger), ginger causes yeast dieoffs e.g...

The bark.. i don't know anything about, besides that ginkgo biloba (not part of this product) is a blood thinner e.g, and also that bark generally may be poisonous in greater doses... or a lesser poison in all, a poison generally... however it is said that bark, or atleast as far as i know, that ginkgo biloba has its positive health effects... so...

I have to research this, more than just reading the "introduction" you posted... smile

Anyway it's a start... and your safety using it, testifies to it's safety, however i must research into this some more....

I belive you when you say it's working wonders, however, i personally would, if i can get my hands on fresh herbs, find the real herbs and eat them separately insted..
But that's my philosophy...

Scan the labels of "health food" and supplements, and then go out to find the real ingredients as greens and herbs, and then eat those instead.. (The ol' all natural way).

However.... great information Sean!
Thankyou... it is a starter.

Yeah I have read about the formula and on curezone with others in ask barefoot forum and they all say the same, he tells me whats in it and the herbs altogether in those dosages should be fine (Hervs are food so why not?). I have not had one side effect yet from this which is rare. I have not had many die offs either which is also rare. I go to the bathroom and get more out when I take a few, thats for certain.

It seems with alot in here and what I read people tend to overthink everythign instead of keeping it simple and just sticking with something for a while to see how it plays out. Most overanalyze every feeling in here and even have alot of fear of things and after a while that takes part in all you take and really meses with your mind.

I started to go that route as well, I got rid of alot of the fear of these things and things aren't so bad when you let go of alot of that and actually just do and not overthink every feeling.

The old what to take and not to tae all teh time, all the well this throws balance off of this and I need this and then you spend way too much on things over time and don't stick with something that might actually work. Diet is balanced, herbs and foods aren't imbalanced like single vitamins which can do this and that! Remember this, if you actually stick with something like the squatting you might get the same results?

BTW this lower bowel balance if you read on it is one of the best herbal formulas made 100 years ago or so. It has a big history.

Peace.

Been squatting for over a year now and i will never go back to sitting!

I can also testify that "half squatting" also works wonders, that is, using a bucket or something under your feet to raise them while sitting.

I balance on my feet on the toilet like an Asian, but i know people that sits but with a bucket under their feet an has benefits too.

Training is the thing with this, now after over a year, balancing feels natural to me, and i can now even do my thing with my pants partly on, not having to strip completely anymore.

For starters on squatting, it is easier to balance the toilet when completely naked, because your knees are free to balance you, and not stiffened by pants.

But after training this is no issue.

What this has done for my health, is a long story, i don't know where to begin and what is directly attributed to squatting, but after a year now i feel in health as a teenager except for some minor muscles aches that i got after my amalgam removals.

I'm a happier person, I'm more relaxed, Seldom do i have dark circles under my eyes anymore, and seldom do i have the overfull stomach feeling anymore, and i have near totally ridden my self of constipation!

The rest of my body, I belive is also healing it self because of this "new" way of using the toilet.

Other symptoms that are bettering but may not be in direct conjunction to this, is toenail fungus disapearance, etc, less psoriassis bodywide, as Duck said, fuller hair, clearer white in the eyes, more shiney eyes, but that can also be attributed to diet and sauna, but i think it is a result of my total efforts.

I belive, no, i know, that this has changed My life for the better, and that is has and is also helping me detox better, in a natural way ofcourse.

The body gets to decide it's rate of detox on it's own.

Squatting does wonders, not evernight maybe as Duck said, but in the long run.
Ofcourse you will probably notice a day and night difference just after your first try as i did, but as Duck said, the rest will come in steps, now and then.

Squatting immediately clear the head too, lifts the heaviness.
Some people says that if you're ill in the stomach, than your head directly follows, often also vice versa, i can testify on that.

Squatting brings a peace of mind and a peace to your body.

I could proably write a lot more on this right now, as there are some many great things to say about this, but i can come up with more at this very moment.

I belive squatting saves lifes (long run), and betters life quality, simple as that.

Thankyou Duck!
You have played a huge part in saving, enriching, and elenghtening My life!

Eternal greatful to you.

Hello Rom,

Welcome to the forum...

'just wondering, have you ever tried the 'Christophers Lower Bowel Formula', or 'Christophers Colon Cleanse'? I noticed that was suggested....

If you'll excuse me, this discussion of your personal 'bowel movement position' seems rather tactless. I mean to mention it is one thing, but to rave on about the explanation of your 'method' does seem rather uncalled for..embarrassing? blush

How do the Christopher products work for you? Have you tried them? Thank you.

Wow, just in time, I am back for the resurrection of the squatting thread! boogie

Nice to meet you, Rom! Thank you for adding your insight to this post. I appreciate all the detail!

Well, to each his own.

It certainly seems 'overdone' in his explanation. I mean it is so picturesque to ones mind, that it seems rather PERSONAL!

I was hoping to get an answer to my Q's. I used to use the Christopher Products and found them to be helpful.

Perhaps in other countries this topic is more OPENLY discussed? May I ask where you are from, Rom?
At any rate, Rom, would you care to answer my questions regarding the Christopher products??

------ juggling Have a good day....

Thankyou for the welcome people.
Glad you found it useful mommy24.

abishag, no i have not tried any of those products you ask about.
i have been thinking about colon cleanses for some time, but haven't gotten around to try it yet.

To reply to your offence of details.
No i don't think this is embarrasing to talk about, and i don't think it is tactless.

I'm not speaking about my personal bathroom methods, I speak about the way Asians use the toilet, what the challanges are at first, then some advice on how to go about this in an easy way until it gets natural.

Many people that wants to try squatting, may be turned away from it because simply, to a Westerner the thought of balancing a toilet may sound so difficult that it's not worth it.

I'm giving a few shortcuts and tips on how to ease the learning curve.
That's all there is to it.

Whether that information is from personal experience or not, is not relevant.
It is helpful to people new to this, how to go about doing this without too much of a challange.

Maybe my wording was poorly chosen because of the classic taboo that hangs around this subject for many, but if one is to weigh every word to please everyone......... right?

Anyway, this method of doing one's business, has major benefits to health as a whole, and btw also rids contipation amongst many other things.
It is also good for prostata problems and incontinense, and may also fix leaky gut problems as far as i know. (The ileocecal valve)

Squatting is really the missing link when trying to detox successfully, because of the common issues with constipation alone.

Having one's main detox pathway (the intestines) clogged while trying to detox, is a disaster waiting to happen, and can lead to some dreadful redistribution experiences. (I'm talking mercury here)

This can easily be avoided.
The answer is squatting, in English, using the toilet in an oldfasionly eastern way.

Say goodbye to constipation forever!

What some people choose to picture in their minds, i have no control over.

If a person chooses to picture another person doing his "needs", then it is that person's problem, not mine.

I didn't intend for anyone to picture another person doing his or her stuff.
Everyone decides where they want to take their minds.

btw, abishag, what difference does it make? aren't people on the net anonymous, faceless?

no harm in picturing a faceless anonymous person on the net that you do not know anyway, right?

some say, some things are better left unspoken, i don't agree.
as long as one don't call people names, and directly insult or hurt them, everything goes.

no offence, but.
we are in general, mature enough to discuss bodily functions anonymously without shame, aren't we?

this is as nautral as anything. not a nice thing to picture, but still natural.
So don't picture it then.
It's your choice to lead your mind wherever you want.

Oooh, I haven't tried those products, either. I have done a colon cleanse, but not recently. I am due to try another.

I really think squatting does make a difference, even if only a partial squat with your legs elevated. It does help my son when he's constipated, and helped me when I was pregnant. I also tell anyone that is suffering from it, to elevate their feet with a bucket or a box, the change of position does wonders. Also helps if you massage your lower back at the time. You will probably have to do it yourself, as I'm not sure where you're from if someone else would want to enter the toilet while you're trying to go, just to rub your back.
constipated

Thanks again Rom, for the great defecation info. I hope you are planning to share details of your colon cleanse, as well. yes
