"In addition to metals detox, supplementation has been found clinically effective to deal with these conditions. Immune(ginseng, echineacea, EFAs, curcumin); energy metabolism(CoQ10, NADH, L-carnatine, magnesium) ; Adrenal fatigue(DHEA, licorice, sodium); Stress(glutamine, Adapton); neurotransmitters(tyrosine); homocysteine(B6,B12,folic acid, SAMe); inflammation(antioxidants: N-acetyl-cysteine, alpha lipoic acid), fatigue(ginseng, Mate), digestive support(digestive enzymes, probiotics) (580)

Tests are readily available to check for hormone levels often out of imbalance in these conditions such as DHEA, cortisol, thyroid, and testosterone in older men (386a,580,etc.).

B.E.Vickery’s testing showed all Fibromyalgia patients to have five common conditions, regardless of their symptoms: 1)protein deficiency 2)degenerating spinal disks 3)sulfur deficiency 4) heavy metal toxicity , and 5) viral infection. (585) It is claimed that if they follow the Vickory Protocol their bodies are able to heal."

I myself have had CFS and fibro symptoms. All of it are all variations of the same disease, imgo leaky gut variations, which is of course in large amount of cases due to mercury.

Anyone here have experience with Creatine? It looks like it may be worth trying by those who have fibromyalgia or CFS.

Curcumin might help you, I know you are big into the spices and I use Turmeric or Curry to get it, both have done me well and it's only a few days in, alot of cleansing effects felt so far from it (Sometimes too much but I cut back dosage). Good list of supps on there, I can't take them all but will consider some alot. I have CFS (Not nearly as bad as I used to) and low blood sugar at times, not nearly as bad as I used to like I said but it rears it's head from time to times now, especially during cleansing, boy does it then. BTW what spices do you take now? I cna't take the Cayenne as it sparks an allergy I believe and I feel dizzy as well, but Turmeric is okay and Curry I just got into, Ginger maybe next.

I use curry powder, cayenne, cinnamon, licorice root, garlic, and onion powder. Curry powders vary in composition, but they all usually have plenty or turmeric. I also occasionally use peppermint, cinnamon, and oegano oil.

Creatine looks very promising. it seems like it might help plenty with muscle ache, muscle weakness and fatigue. I haven't tried it yet.

The article also emphasizes magnesium and zinc. I cut back on my
calcium supplementation, as I realized that my diet has plenty.

I might use more of the Ginger nowadays since my digsestion is off, that seems to be key there. I also seem to have somewhat of an allergy to Cayenne or Turmeric for some reason? My nose itches after I take it and I feel my chest burn etc,. and itchy on my neck? Candide die off or just plain old allergy? Garlic is high in sulfur right? How can that be good for us Mercury toxic guys? That scares me although I took Kyolic for years was it really good for me? I am trying to get into Ginger Root soon and Mushrooms as well, Reishi is one which really jacks up your immune system and fights Candida, it is one to those next until I find something that agrees with me! Curry or Turmeric is okay, but later om I can't really breathe and feel bad, so thats an allergy? Is that possible? I guess so but I really wanted to use those frown I have to find something I can use and at a good price, onto Ginger next I guess or Reishi Mushroom. Cinnamon can be fine too and good for Candida? Maybe that can help? Read this on high sulfur foods and Chelation, Turmeric and Garlic mentioned in here, maybe thats why I am bothered by this or Selenium based from Broccoli?http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/sulfur_sulphur_foods.html

Either way alot of those in there bother me with their sulfur, maybe this is why? We are mercury toxic, maybe those bother use because of that? Molybdenum appears to be huge (Spelling?), I can guess magnesium and zinc as you mention would be too?

I forgot to mention ginger. I sometimes use ginger oil or ginger tea. I think cayenne and turmeric are antifungal, so it is probably candida die off. The quote I mentioned above claims that those with fibromyalgia symptoms are sulphur deficient.
cinnamon is also antifungal, as is also ginger.

I was just thinking about molybdenum. I know it is needed in the breakdown of sufites and aldehydes, however now I am wondering if it might hinder chelation agents such as DMSA or ALA.
I guess from now on I will only take molybdenum supplements on my off days. One website I read claimed that selenium interferes with mercury excretion on rats given DMSA, so I guess it is also a good idea not to supplement selenium during chelation rounds. Molybdenum does help decrease chemical sensitivity, however if it interferes with chelation then it is not good for use during rounds. Some websites say that chelation decreases manganese and zinc. Perhaps these shouldn't be supplemented during chelation rounds, but supplemented to a greater degree on off days?

Yeah I think it was a vicious Candida die off since I felt horrible afterwards and felt great today when I did not use it, clear thoughts I have not had in a while and all! I have a feeling I should not stear away from those just yet and deal with it? I felt great today after days on Turmeric and Curry, for that reason? I agree it's probably die off and not an allergy, those suck just as much.

I have a magazine here at home my mom got me that said the three C's and Cumin, Cayenne and Curry could reduce Candida 40% in just two weeks! So I might not have been ready for that die off I got and thought it was an allergy as usual and should not just stop! I thought clear as hell and could smell and think straight again after a few days on Curry and Turmeric so maybe I should continue it? I felt great today and did not use, but it was clearly because of those I felt this great which I have not in a while. Candida die offs can resemble allergies I know, bigtime with the itching nose and skin. I need to keep it up I guess and keep you updated, as long as it's not serious I should continue it. BTW after the Curry yesterday a few hours later I felt alot better when I used Magnesium which helped me use the bathroom and I was very clear headed, die off? Probably, feels like an allergy too though at times, you ever had that?

*DON'T* USE CURRY!It contains corrainder seeds, which is bascially cilantro. And yes, the seeds also mobilise mercury!

My curry powder has turmeric, coriander, fenugreek, cumin, ginger, cloves, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, white pepper, garlic, onion and celery seed.

I looked up coriander, and it said that it is cilantro.
Perhaps I should rethink the strategy of eating foods with curry powder. Those all seem like potent ingredients. I wonder how much cilantro in in the the curry poder. It is the second ingredient on the list, however there are 12 ingredients. Perhaps I shouldn't worry that much about it? I don't use that much at a time.

I will tell u this: I get mercury mobilisation symptoms in the brain from curry alone. Dont take it, u can make ur own curry/garam masala etc according to many recipies on the net.

THANK YOU! I knew I felt off and weird the last few days, thank GOD I don't did it for a day or two before you told me! Thats why I felt weird and detox symptoms (Not just from Candida). Also read my link up there on foods with high sulfur and notice Turmeric boosts something in your body as well thats not good for us! I read that on there and will stop it now, maybe Cayenne and Ginger will do? Those seem like a good bet.

Thank you though, I appreciate it!

THANK YOU! I got that as well the last few days, I knew I felt weird! Just shows you I sitll have Mercury in me and up there to worry about, this just proved it! It's supposed to make you feel better, well it makes US mercury toxic people seem weirded out and different! I didn't know that and you pointed out why, thank you! I don't do good with Sulfur either it seems, I tried Magnesium Sulfate which is supposedly so good from mentions on another board, felt the same after a few days as I do when it acts up (Mercury). I need to watch what I eat and Take, that link I put up there with Culters foods high in thoils and Sulfur should guide me on things to take and eat. It says Mushrooms are fine, so Reishi Mushrooms I will start taking over the Turmeric or Curry.

Turmeric alone boosts Thiols it said in your body, so that should be eliminated too.

I do well on high sulphur foods. Andy Cutler mentioned that some people do better on high sulphur foods, while others do worse. He gave no real explanation for this though. Other things you can try are peppermint oil(much more potent than peppermint tea). Don't use more than 3 drops at a time, as too much can be toxic, and oil of oregano(this stuff is great, but it can be expensive! The Now brand is somewhat reasonable in price though).
Cinnamon(cassia) oil is also great stuff. The Now brand is easy enough to find and inexpensive. I use cinnamon the spice on food, but when I want a strong dose of cinnamon I reach for the oil(just 3 drops at a time).

I did really well on Chlorella and Kyolic garlic for a few years! Right after removal infact, I used them for years and did fine! No side effects at all! Maybe I should start up again with what really worked? Those did me well, the others like Selenium and some Kelp not so much at all, I took Now Kelp and did well for years too (1/4 of a TSP). I agree some do really well on it as he told Russ too when he mentioned it. I did well on it, don't do well on Cayenne or Curry it seems but otherwise I do well on high sulfur! Go figure. I can get a clean chlorella now and use it again for years and be fine or Kyolic as well, while some like Bex can't at all JK. I am going to use the Ginger though, that and Reishi Mushrooms for the yeast and see how that goes. When I used really high doses of Chlorella I felt great, some days flawless! I am thinking of going on that again since it seems to be me.

You could switch to pure tumeric instead of curry powder if you don't want the other ingredients . Tumeric helps rid the body of mercury.

I'm brand new to the mercury detox world and feel confused, scared and lousy. Only realized 4 1/2 months ago that my problem was mercury - on my own. In hindsight I'd had minor poisoning symptoms for almost a lifetime, but the really bad stuff started a year ago. Had what amalgams were left taken out 4 1/2 months ago by a conventional dentist. 4 days later felt worse. So much conflicting info - tried NAC, Glutathione, Glutathione Precursors which all made my symptoms worse. Tried MSM and that seemed to help. Took about 8 capsules a day and then out of the blue things got worse. Now, for the last couple of days I can hardly walk. My main symptom for the past year had been peripheral neuropathy with numbness in extremeties. Uncomfortable but tolerable. The blurred vision went away with large amounts of vitamins b2 and A. But now I can hardly walk - losing my balance - vertigo. Missed work for the first time. Am going to see Dr. Mercola on Monday. Anybody out there have anything similar?

I hear about your kind of symptoms all the time.

As for mercury detox, it's a bit of an art because you have to listen to your body, but I have become a believer in DMSA since I started using it myself.

Mercy detox is like walking a tight rope. You have to detox as fast as you can, but not too fast or you may feel horrible.

I put together a page with a collection of information that may help clear up some of the conflicting information.

http://urlbam.com/ha/M001p
(There is a section about mercury detox on that page.)

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here or contact me if you like. I've been at this for some time and have had probably every mercury symptom you can imagine.

I also had a complete recovery which changed everything in my life dramatically.

Thanks.

Do you think it was too much sulphur or just the roller coaster effect? I've stopped the sulphur all the way now because I'm scared.

It was either one of two things:

(1) The fact that I did DMPS IV which stirs up a lot of mercury, or

(2) Just my body adjusting.

Sulphur affects some people negatively, others don't seem to be affected. Either way, it is very important for protein metabolism and does mobilize mercury out of the body.

Have you considered DMSA? Or are you trying to stay natural?

A little worried about DMSA after reacting this way to sulfur. Anyone tried PCA-rx?

I understand, and that's a good thought.

As for me, I have had serious reactions to sulphur but nearly no discernable reactions to DMSA.

Just for thought.
