Yeah I know, I should be able to get the Dr to do that. But, it's not really necessary, as the dentist knows him well and his testing, so it's just a matter of the dentist confirming what was found on the voll and so far nothing. .
No, I don't have any root canals. It's a real bizzare mystery. I know some cavitations can be hidden and can still cause problems. I've heard of DMSO to use in the mouth that can sometimes drawn the toxins out that way, but I don't think anything can compare to opening it up and clearning it out surgically. Some don't always work, apparently 75% do, but the rest often have to have the same place done 5 or 6 times before they get things to heal properly.
You gotta wonder why dentists put us in this situation to begin with....
But I' have emailed that doctor and informed him of what's happened and to see if he can give me some kind of explanation for why his voll testing told me I have gangrene, yet nothing shows up in panormaic xray or topas test.
I'm also going to express my concerns to the dentist again too and let him know that I want further investigating done with the cavitat scan, even if he thinks it's a waste of time. I have heard that's very accurate. But I'm unsure about anything now. I just want it resolved.
