I can't believe how terror has spread here in the UK. Several schools have actually closed. I read an article in which an "expert" said that swine flu is like the flu that goes round every winter and kills thousands of people (though really it's secondary pneumonia that does this, not the flu itself).

Duh? Do schools close when someone catches the ordinary flu?

My own school told us to update our "snow day" information in case they had to shut, themselves. No doubt there are huge stockpiles of Tamiflu waiting to be used, which is making someone a pretty dollar during the recession.

I don't think I've ever been fed such a load of nonsense in my life.
