They say ears can't feel pain unless one has an ear infection but thats not true...
When I was in the thick of hyperacusis I felt terrible sharp ear pain and electric appliances made my ears worse too..
Though I'm not sure about the swollen but more like fullness inside like a blown up ballon..
Is that's what swollen means??
You mean a feeling inside your ears or one thats visable??
One a person can see..
